Jürgen was very helpful and very eager to give us a nice time. The property is great for groups and offers a lot. A lot of special features of the amenities make for a good stay.

Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

Beautiful house with many amenities. It's also nice that previous residents leave things so that you can already run a wash or make coffee the first day. The village of Silbach is also very beautiful and has a nice shop and playground for the kids. Plenty to do in the area and with that it makes this vacation a 10!

We felt very comfortable in the bright and friendly apartment with beautiful terrace and great garden. Two weeks right on the edge of the forest and a short way to Cronenberg were quickly around. The contact with the hosts was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and warm. Clear recommendation, we'll be happy to come back! Thank you for the great hospitality.

Micky was very quick in communication. We only stayed one night for a bike event and could store the bikes safely in the garage. Really only slept there and left very early again the next day, but everything was arranged well and friendly. Maybe a bit far from Cologne centre for some people, but public transport is nearby and easy. Would stay again!

If we had a question, they were immediately there to help us with helpful information and tips. ▪︎ A shopping market in the immediate vicinity (within walking distance in 2 minutes) is great. ▪︎ We would stay there again anytime and highly recommend the roof apartment with extra sleeping space in a separate room.

Great hosts, very responsive even from afar. Complicated for parking spaces. Very clean and pleasant accommodation with air conditioning in the bedroom.

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. Thank you again for being such kind and welcoming hosts — we enjoyed our stay

I felt everything was excellent from booking to check-in and stay. The host always responded immediately and was super friendly. The apartment was very neat and clean and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable there and the location was perfect for visiting the fair. I look forward to booking this accommodation the next time I visit the fair.

The apartment is lovingly and very creatively furnished - I love the colors, the bed and the old furniture, the candlestick angels and the large giraffe in the hallway! The kitchen really has EVERYTHING, a dream come true. The location in the middle of the pretty old town is great, I was very good at the peace and calmness of the city. Mareike (Arianes co-host) took great care of me, I got all the important information in time and my question was answered within seconds. The contact was very friendly and the note to not park in the marketplace on Friday evening because of the Saturday market is towed, very caring. I had a wonderful 12 days and am still very excited. Thank you very much! A small note: If you are very sensitive to noise, you should know that the fridge and ventilation in the bathroom are quite noisy. It didn't bother me.

Our stay was very nice. The place was just as pictured. The apartment was very clean and in pristine condition. Another plus was of course the pool and sauna. Umut was always available, immediately helpful and an absolutely perfect host. Communication always went smoothly and there were no questions or requests left unanswered. I would stay there again anytime. ☺️

Great place for relaxing. Lots of nature and tranquility. Perfect with little kids. Almost no cars, play area, trampoline. Anja was so sweet to set up a paddling pool for the little ones. Swimming pool was especially beautiful for our big ones. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Everythinng worked fine for a two - month stay.. Fully equipped both in kitchen and furniture - wise. Nice and safe neighbourhood. Elena was easy to get hold of .

Beautiful view, a lot of space and facilities to do games, great for families

We will be happy to come back! We were welcomed directly in a friendly way and everything was shown to us on site. Especially for children, a lot is offered on site. Next to the animals there are two games rooms and a small swimming pool. The property was clean, well-maintained, and superbly decorated.
