This is a convenient and comfortable, above garage apartment, within a mile or so from uptown Athens, just off of Richland Ave. Equipped with everything you might need, including wifi, full kitchen and bath, central heat, and A/C. and then some. Many updates have occurred since original listing, paired w lots of little changes, as a result of positive feedback. Please bare with me as it's a continual art in progress. Various condiments, coffee, cream, etc to be shared. Thanks for looking.

7 miles from Ohio University. Great for couples and families. Newly renovated A frame cabin in a country/ wooded setting. Cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/ dryer. We offer a smart TV with wifi for entertainment. The cabin is heated and cooled with mini split units, one down stairs and one in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has access to private porch decks. We are pet friendly. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. I promise you will see a stinkbug, lady bug or wood beetle.

Wonderful place out in the country. Great kitchen with a keurig coffee pot and full size fridge and freezer. The internet worked smoothly the whole time, even when we streamed the tv. Lots of great restaurants in town 20 minutes away. All in all a perfect little getaway, will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend. The cabin was spotless and very welcoming and comfortable. Sarah responded almost immediately when we had questions. She was also good about informing us of things that might affect our stay. Her husband came immediately when we had a question about the hot tub. We could not have asked for better hosts! We have already booked the cabin again for this fall.

A charming cottage is nestled among vibrant autumn trees, showcasing a blend of reds, oranges, and yellows. A carpet of fallen leaves covers the grass, while a small patio area is visible in front of the structure. The clear sky adds to the serene setting.

Dove Cottage Forest Retreat

My brothers and I were in the area over Memorial weekend on our motorcycles to ride The Windy Nine motorcycle roads. This location was perfect, just outside of Athens but not too far. Quaint little cabin in the woods the also offered cover for our bikes to keep them from collecting morning dew. This small cottage offered everything we needed but bot too fancy. The only caution is finding the driveway on the initial arrival can be a bit tricky especially on motorcycles as the winding road that leads to the cottage is not too U-turn friendly for motorcycles. Overall, awesome place and we will be back!

This is my second stay and I'm glad I went back. Jennifer and Michelle have created a very comfortable and peaceful space. There's an amazing private trail system through some beautifully preserved forest with incredible views.

The kitchen showcases modern cabinetry and a spacious countertop, featuring a gas stove and double sink. Pendant lighting illuminates the room, while a large window offers natural light and views of the outdoors. A decorative rug adds a touch of color to the area.

Jennifer’s house was clean, quiet, comfortable and WiFi was strong. The neighborhood is quiet, lots of greenery and close to town. The living room is roomy and couch was great. Bed comfortable, good water pressure, safe surroundings and nice little porch to sit out. Host was quick To answer a question we had. We would visit again!

The serene pool area is surrounded by the property, with comfortable seating beneath a gazebo providing a shaded retreat. The evening sky casts a soft light on the water, while elegant architecture and lush greenery frame the scene.

We really enjoyed staying at this Airbnb located a short walk to Court Street. The house is nicely set up for a comfortable stay. In addition there’s a beautiful heated pool and lounge area with a fire pit. And to top it all off there’s an unexpected full bar in the lower level complete with a VIP area. Amazing & fun!! P.S. the communication was great also and Bryan was a terrific host.

A natural creek bed is bordered by smooth stones and lush green grass, leading toward a vibrant forest. The cabin's exterior is visible to the left, with a small porch providing a glimpse of the surrounding woodlands.
