In our garden, there is a traditional Japanese architectural storehouse (a building for safely storing household goods, merchandise, etc.). We renovated a warehouse into a residence. It is a building that very few people build today. Meals are not included. Cooking is not allowed. There is a sink, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and fridge. There is a washing machine (free) (no dryer) The bathroom is a shower room (no bathtub) This is a private rental for one group per day. It is completely separate from our house. Privacy is secured. There is nothing shared with other guests, such as showers or toilets. About 9 minutes on foot from JR Shingu Station. 1-minute walk to FamilyMart (24-hour store) There are also Japanese style pubs within walking distance where you can eat fresh sashimi, sushi, and Shingu's specialty, mehari sushi, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat. (The shops close earlier than in the city) We have 6 bicycles for rent. (free)　 Parking for up to 2 cars is available in front of the gate (free of charge on the premises). Shingu is located in the middle of Kumano City, Nachikatsuura Town, and Hongu, so you can use this as a base to tour the World Heritage Sites.

Currently, Moraro is the only private lodging accommodation adjacent to the grounds of the Inner Palace. The inner palace shows a completely different expression in the season, weather, and time.Especially in the early morning, the inner palace is exceptional. Guest House Agae is a renovated traditional house that can only accommodate one group at a time. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. We can also provide personal guides, so please let us know. Prices do not include meals. This guest house is located in Nigishima-cho, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. Nigishima-cho is located in the southern part of Mie prefecture, and you can enjoy the beautiful azure seascape called Kumano Blue. Enjoy the view of the calm sea of the port town from your room and relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a nostalgic port town on Nigishima. Kumano City is located on the prefectural border with Wakayama Prefecture, and is the best place to drive around Wakayama and Mie's famous places.

You can try on valuable samurai armor, helmets, and bridal gowns (kimono)for free. The house is reserved for a group of 3 or more people per day. Please relax as if you were at home. We usually accept up to 8 people, but we can accommodate up to 10 people on request. There is a convenience store in front of the house, which is very convenient.

Mikiura Guesthouse

Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains, and located close to the World Heritage of "Kumano Kodo" You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We only take one reservation everyday so when you stay at Mikiura-Guesthouse is yours to use privately.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
