In our garden, there is a traditional Japanese architectural storehouse (a building for safely storing household goods, merchandise, etc.). We renovated a warehouse into a residence. It is a building that very few people build today. Meals are not included. Cooking is not allowed. There is a sink, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and fridge. There is a washing machine (free) (no dryer) The bathroom is a shower room (no bathtub) This is a private rental for one group per day. It is completely separate from our house. Privacy is secured. There is nothing shared with other guests, such as showers or toilets. About 9 minutes on foot from JR Shingu Station. 1-minute walk to FamilyMart (24-hour store) There are also Japanese style pubs within walking distance where you can eat fresh sashimi, sushi, and Shingu's specialty, mehari sushi, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat. (The shops close earlier than in the city) We have 6 bicycles for rent. (free)　 Parking for up to 2 cars is available in front of the gate (free of charge on the premises). Shingu is located in the middle of Kumano City, Nachikatsuura Town, and Hongu, so you can use this as a base to tour the World Heritage Sites.

Limited to one group per day, it is a small building, so you can relax with 2-3 people. For the architecture, we use natural materials such as dirt walls with plaster walls, earthen rooms with grills, and bedrooms made of cypress from Mie Prefecture, so you can relax with peace of mind. A wood-burning stove is available during the winter months. Special acoustic wooden speakers can listen to music on records, CDs, and Bluetooth. You can also have a simple farming experience in the June farmland where you can grow pesticide-free vegetables.(Reservation fee required) You can fully enjoy the blessings of living in the city. You can cook by yourself using seasonal pesticide-free vegetables and Matsusaka beef at a nearby butcher shop. Enjoy freshly ground coffee on your hand mill.(Original blend for coffee beans) Please bring sleeping clothing and bath towels.(Face towels are provided.Bath towel rental available) The location is a quiet country.I would advise you to come with a car. Please use the gravel parking lots in the warehouse.

Ise Jingu's stay

Stay like a secondary residence in Ise. Moriro "is a place where you can visit the Inuju in the early morning at a refreshing time full of atmosphere in the early morning. Travel like a local.You can meet the inner palace that you've never felt before. Why don't you visit the inner shrine in the early morning?I'm sure it will be a great experience. Currently, Moraro is the only private lodging accommodation adjacent to the grounds of the Inner Palace. Enjoy a special time near the inner palace while feeling the fluctuations of trees and birds singing in this place close to the shrine. The inner palace shows a completely different expression in the season, weather, and time.Especially in the early morning, the inner palace is exceptional. [Only for one group per day] Spacious and private space The entire house is rented out, so you can relax and unwind. Please use it as a secondary residence when you come to the inner palace. * We use a tablet self check-in system instead of reception at the front desk.Please do this in advance. * It takes about 10 minutes on foot to Uji Bridge in front of Ise Jingu Naiku. Because it is limited to one pair per day. *We are renting out 4 easy-to-use bicycles for free for you to enjoy strolling in the area. *We prepared various guidebooks about the local area for you to enjoy. *3-minute walk from sushi house, There is the biggest shopping mall in Shingu. It is convenient to buy food etc.

This guest house is located in Nigishima-cho, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. Nigishima-cho is located in the southern part of Mie prefecture, and you can enjoy the beautiful azure seascape called Kumano Blue. Enjoy the view of the calm sea of the port town from your room and relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a nostalgic port town on Nigishima. Kumano City is located on the prefectural border with Wakayama Prefecture, and is the best place to drive around Wakayama and Mie's famous places.

Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We only take one reservation everyday so when you stay at Mikiura-Guesthouse is yours to use privately.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
