We loved our stay here. Walking distance from the train which made accessing Munich very easy. A beautiful residential street with great surrounding pubs and cafes. We would absolutely recommend to our family and friends

I stopped just for a night with my two children, the place felt comfortable and homy as soon as we entered. The check in was easy, Toby and his wife responsive. The only hic-up I had, is that I drove first one turn to early, but found the house straight after... As we stayed only one night, I don't know how the light is in the apartment during the day as it is a basement.

The apartment is just as great as described. It was super clean, is excellently equipped and very well located to explore the beautiful Chiemgau. Anja, our contact person, did the check-in with us and also gave us good tips. Sabine also inquired about us and was super friendly and interested. Next time, we would book the accommodation through Airbnb again.

Her place was great and it accommodated 5 Adults and 3 children very well! We were extremely pleased!

Stefanie was a wonderful host! The area was beautiful. Our family of 5 did great here. Beautiful home and large main bathroom. Our daughter uses a wheel chair and everything worked out great. Would stay here again. Close to everything. We had a car and was able to go into Munich and also drive to various castles and Salzburg. She’s a perfect host!

With one laughing and one wistful eye, we look back on our stay with Georg and Gisela. Nostalgic, because time passed too quickly and we could have stayed forever... A week was just too short! Laughing, because it was so beautiful and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Waltersberg. We can only agree with all previous great reviews. Georg and Gisela are wonderful hosts, as they could not be better: attentive, warm, helpful and in short people to like. The house was charming, cozy, sparkling clean and well equipped as expected, the beautiful garden very idyllic, full of flowers and well maintained, the charming surroundings and the short distances to the most beautiful mountain and lake landscapes are worth a trip anyway. We spent an extended weekend in this beautiful and modern accommodation and felt completely comfortable. The absolute highlight was the indoor pool – in the rather bad weather, it was just the thing to still create a holiday feeling. The water temperature was constantly between 31 and 34 degrees, which made swimming particularly pleasant. The house was very clean. Mariola was very friendly and accommodating. She offered and provided us with a mobile crib, which we greatly appreciated. The sauna in the basement was also great, it needs a little while to get really warm, but if you have a little patience, it will be a really nice sauna experience. Due to the size of the sauna, several people can relax at the same time. Unfortunately, we couldn't really use the outdoor pool due to the weather, but in better weather this would certainly have been a highlight. All in all, a very nice stay.

I stayed with Harald for about 1 week, The apartment is very well appointed and lacks nothing. The apartment is very nicely located, I would come back. All the best!

We were guests of Harald in mid-June 2025 with a family friend (4 adults, 4 children 2-7, 1 dog) and were very satisfied! The lovingly furnished house is a dream! The clean pool (including cleaning robot and cover) is mostly in the shade during the day, which is absolutely perfect for hot summer days. The sauna in the outbuilding is also optimal and invites you to relax! The house offers everything you need, even things like toilet paper, bath towels, detergent or are available, not a given! Harald provided us with all the important information in advance and was always available for questions, also gave us helpful tips for excursions. Here you feel completely in good hands, exactly what you want on vacation! That's all you can do! I highly recommend the place! We will be happy to come back!

Everything worked out fine from check-in to checkout. Very friendly host who is easily accessible for questions. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. We recommend the place, especially because of the good location.

Very nice and especially family-friendly accommodation. The apartment was very clean and corresponded to the descriptions. We were in the apartment with two families (3 children, 2-8 years). The outdoor area with pool was great and also great for the kids. The direct location on the railway tracks with regular train and freight traffic (even at night) was not disturbing for us. We will be happy to come back.

We have as a complete family (8 adults, 4 children) vacationed together. The house is spacious, has a great location, is very well equipped and relaxing to live in even on rainy days.

The stay at Katharina's was fine. Very neat. Great instructions. Very nice was the fenced garden so that our dog could go outside freely.

Thomas and his wife are amazing people. I felt just like at home. Perfect location if you’re with kids. Walkable, great public transportation and a lot of groceries.

We immediately felt at home. The home is very cosy and clean, all amenities are in walking distance. Also, good location to do some excursions to Munich or the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay and the very friendly hosts !

This Airbnb was absolutely worth the price. With the Isar, several bus stops, & the English Garden in easy walking distance, the location alone was worth it. This place had everything I needed for a short trip to Munich. Of course, it could use more robus cooling options, but that's just Europe in the summertime!

Simon is a very helpful host and always quick and clear in replying！ The place was comfortable and clean, walking distance fron multiple public transport options, even going back later in the evening is possible by bus. The check in/out was very easy and made simple and convenient for the guests! For two people the price quality ratio is definitely worth it!

The apartment in the attic can accommodate 4 people. Kitchen and nice, large bathroom available. Nice restaurants and cafes for breakfast are a few minutes' walk away. Bus and train stops are also within walking distance and you can be in Munich city center in 20 minutes. Manuel always answered and supported us promptly with questions and concerns. The property is highly recommended.

Andrea is a responsive person to our questions before check-in: use of transport in Munich, directions to the accommodation and nearby shops, long check-in time (appreciable when you come from far away!). The accommodation was clean, bright, very well-equipped. Andrea is a friendly and helpful person. Thank you for this very pleasant stay, we will gladly come back.
