Wow! What a fantastic stay- the house was beyond our expectations. Sublime pool area ( better than the photos!) , comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and amazing little extras!!! Maria was a delight to communicate with and the seven of us cannot wait to return! If you want to switch off and relax in beautiful Galicia this is the place for you - Muchos gracias

Fuimos un grupo de 5 treintañeros y nuestra experiencia no pudo ser mejor. En el momento de llegada tuvimos un recorrido por todo el alojamiento y los servicios disponibles, todos impecables. Nos trasladaron recomendaciones de restaurantes y actividades por la zona, asi como tambien nos ayudaron con dudas que teniamos sobre como desplazarnos por la zona. Todos tuvimos la sensacion que son felices compartiendo su vivienda a los huéspedes. Sin duda, volveriamos a alojarnos de nuevo.

La ubicación es perfecta para visitar toda la zona. Miguel nos dejó también muy buenas recomendaciones de restaurantes en los distintos sitios a visitar. La zona es muy tranquila, no hay nada de ruido. La casa está bien equipada, la recomiendo a familias ya que hay amplitud y dispone de dos baños completos.

Una experiencia inmejorable. La casa es súper completa y de muy fácil acceso. Josetxo un anfitrión de 10, muy pendiente de que no nos faltase de nada y que tuviéramos un fin de semana perfecto. Nos tenían unos detalles de bienvenida y estaba todo impecable. ¡Ya queremos repetir!

Gracias Mayte, por brindarnos unas días maravillosas en Pontevedra. La casa es súper acogedora y tan pristina! Nos encantó la piscina y fue fácil de transportarnos a cualquier lado alrededor. Seguramente regresaría si me encuentro en Pontevedra de nuevo.

La casa es tal cual las fotos y la descripción, destaca por su limpieza, zona tranquila ideal para desconectar, tiene cerca zonas comerciales en general. La comunicación con Manu y todos sus detalles son inmejorables.

Combarro is like stepping into a different dimension. As you drive down the narrow streets you come to a place almost untouched by the centuries. We walked down to our little stone house on the sea, past the cruceiros in the square, and through a small blue gate where tourists leaned over to get a better look at the two hórreos or granary stores that dominated our small garden. Down a set of stone steps and we arrived at our home for the next week and drank in the quiet of this tranquil place. It was perfect.

Un sitio muy acogedor con impecable limpieza y trato por parte de la anfitriona Alicia, que se preocupó en todo momento de nuestro bienestar. Encantada de volver a esta maravillosa casa con un encanto inigualable.

La casa super chula y super completa. Zona alejada del centro pero muy fácil y rápido para llegar a él. Zona sin ruidos y se podía descansar y desconectar perfectamente. Nos sentimos como en casa y la recomendaría sin pensarlo. Las anfitrionas siempre pendientes de nosotros, muy amables y simpáticas.

Marcelino met us exactly on time and showed us around the house explaining how everything worked and what to do in the area. The house absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is right on the beach, easy boardwalk in to town. Beautiful sunsets and views. Boiro is a great little town, lots of restaurants and cafes. We really recommend staying here. We only had 4 nights and wish it could be longer. Thank you for your kindness Marcelino.

Chisco, Lua, Pachi, Marcial y sobre todo PILAR. Pilar nos ha acogido y cuidado como si fuéramos de su propia familia, siempre con una sonrisa, con una energía que se nota que disfruta de cada cosa que hace. Han sido cinco días que nos han sabido a poco pero que nos han sabido tan bien. La leche fresca, el queso, las vacas, el ordeño, los terneritos, la compañía de Chisco y Lua, corretear con los cachorritos, los caminos, el camino de Santiago, la piscina, el sol, la lluvia...muchas cosas para tan pocos días. ¡¡Qué más se puede pedir!! Estamos muy contentos por haber elegido A Curiscada para descansar unos días y muy agradecidos a Pilar por habernos acogido y cuidado desde el primer momento como si fuéramos de la familia y de la granja. Muchas gracias!! PD: mis hijos de 11 y 6 años quieren añadir que Chisco, Lua y los cachorritos, que tuvimos la suerte de coincidir, son muuuuuy buenos y que les gusta jugar y que los acaricien.

Piaras is a great host. Kind and generous with his time, to the point of even giving us full access to his orchard and supplying us with delicious peppers and lettuce. We had a great time! La casa es monísima, está fenomenal para pasar unos días tranquilos con amigas o familia. Muy recomendable todo. Hemos estado muy agusto!!!!

Wow, this place is incredible! The views are stunning and the house is perfectly modernized on the inside while maintaining the historical integrity of the outside. It is private yet has easy access to a grocery store and surrounding activities, if you are so inclined. The host is amazing to work with — super communicative and provides detailed instructions with everything you could ever need. I can easily recommend this place to others and echo my fellow reviewers — our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

There were 6 of us and we felt very comfortable in Maria’s home. It was well equiped for all of us. Maria was very helpful with her check in and how things worked. I would definitely stay there again if I am in that area.

Our stay at Hannah's place was nothing short of amazing. Excellent place for a workation, but also to relax with your family. Hannah was SO incredibly nice, and the house was clearly lived in, making us feel right at home. We all slept like logs, which doesn't always happen when we're not in our own beds! The only downside to the AirBnb was the nearby bridge, off Hannah's property. We had a scare when one of the many loose boards tipped over, and one of us fell and hurt themselves. We hope the Concello does something about this soon, but in the meantime Hannah took care of marking the loose boards very clearly, for which we are grateful.

Giovana’s accommodation was beautifully presented, immaculate and far exceeded our expectations. It has great outdoor and indoor space whether you’re a large family/friends holidaying together and cosy enough if you’re just a small family/group as we were. Rooms have been tastefully decorated to a high standard, very comfortable beds and the outdoor pool is a lovely addition. The little village was the perfect base for us to travel to Santiago de Compostela, to the coast at Noia and Portosin, and visit the extraordinary Castro de Barona. Padel courts were 20 minutes drive away and we could walk to the lovely local restaurant called Refuxio Merza - delicious food and very friendly. Local groceries from Panaderia Ramon and a coffee at Bar Rufo are an easy 10 minute walk away and again very friendly. Thank you Giovana for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed here for six days as a family of five (two couples + elderly parent). It was perfect. Each had their own room and bathroom. The house is spacious, well maintained, equipped, and furnished. The location is ideal for walking to the city centre through the forest (Camino trail). For some, the hills might be steep, but we enjoyed it. We also loved the “country” surroundings, the morning smells of trees and grass… so relaxing. The house has a large indoor garage. We used the home as a basis to also explore the coast and other areas of Galicia. Finally, Concha was kind and helpful in recommending restaurants for our Mother’s birthday and responsive to our inquiries.
