The 100-year-old house has been lovingly renovated. 200 square meters on 3 levels offer enough space and retreat areas for 8 people. Large windows and an open living area with oiled wooden floorboards give the rooms light and atmosphere. The house is good for couples and families with kids.

Vaters Haus is a romantic gem in the old craft district. Between the tailor and the butcher, there was a tiny hairdresser here. Eberhard Eisfeld, artist and architecture lover, rebuilt his "snail house" in 10 years so individually that you can still feel the love and his humor today. Roof garden instead of TV, workbench instead of dining table, his old easel in the studio, small luxury with today's self-image. Welcome to the family.

For us, animals come first and everything that revolves around dogs is our specialty. If you need care for your dog, you are also welcome to contact us. You are very welcome! PS: The ceiling height on the upper floor is a bit low for people over 1.75 m. ;)

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.
