Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Arroyo Seco

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sonido Del Sol, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The casita was absolutely beautiful—spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from kitchen essentials to cozy linens. Jeff, our host, was wonderful! He was attentive, friendly and quick to communicate. If you're looking for a place to stay in Taos, this is definitely one of the best options. I can't wait to return!

My husband Greg and I my Sister Doris and Husband Gary enjoyed our stay in your Casita and loved the decor and amenities and suggestions for a great place to eat. We felt like we were at home. The beds were comfy and the Ambiance of the fireplace was great. We definitely will be back. Again Kathleen thank you very much for everything. We very much enjoyed our stay at Brian’s place. It was easy to access, and the place was very clean. Lots of great small touches, like k cups for the morning, shampoo, conditioner, and robes for walking back and forth to and from the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time, definitely would recommend staying here.

This was a great spot for our family to stop. The kids enjoyed playing some of the board games and reading new books.

Our stay at Sanjay’s house exceeded our expectations. The house is both beautiful and unique and ideal for a large family or two families to share. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was to make our stay comfortable. The addeded benefits of the house having a hot tub and a fire pit with an amazing view of the mountains made for even a more unique experience. The house also has two wood fire ovens which were not only fun to use, but added additional heat to the house which was lovely. Our family has three boys and the second floor was perfect for them to have their own space and living room to hook up their PlayStation…a wonderful amenity for everyone to have their own space at the end of a long day skiing. We highly recommend Sanjay’s house and are already planning our next stay!

We loved our stay here! The views were stunning, the accommodations as cozy and home-away-from-home as promised, Tommy was responsive and helpful, and it was convenient to explore Taos and the surrounding area. It truly was a vacation escape with all the comforts and ease of home. Only about 20-30 min to Taos Ski Valley and never more than 10-15 minutes to spots in town. Serene and private, it really felt like a gift to be able to stay here. We’ll be back!

My family and I enjoyed the place very much. The home was perfect and the views were great ! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the area for any reason was close to ski slopes and the Rio grand gorge hike had some amazing views . Location, location, location! It is very close to a park, and just 5 min. walk from the beautiful Taos downtown. If you are children baseball fan, you can catch a game from the balcony ;)

We loved staying at Abeille's place. It was very well located and quite private. My boys enjoyed the space and used all the accommodations. This is a great place to stay and Abeille had all kinds of natural products (shampoo, cleaner, soap) to use for all our daily needs. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed some great tee. We had a great time at this place! Highly recommended. Did I mention the sunrise?!? Yes, a great way to start the day. The sun greets you through the many windows that face South/East.

Robban was very communicative and responsive. Her place was comfortable for my friends while they attended my wedding! They really enjoyed the hot tub, the serene quiet, and the stargazing.

This house was one of the most charming ive ever stayed in. I wish I had time to cook in the stunning kitchen--but I was too busy enjoying the great restaurants within walking distance. I wish I never had to check out!

We had a great stay at Robbin and Ash's place in Angel Fire. While the place isn't huge, it's great for a family of four. The kitchenette really had all we needed to make meals, and we loved the hot tub. Wish we could go back in the summer to experience the outdoor spaces more fully! Great and quick communication throughout!

Incredible view of the mountains from every window of this peaceful studio. Enjoyed a full kitchen to make meals to enjoy outside on the picnic table. The fire pit and hot tub were great amenities. very quiet and dark at night providing for amazing stargazing. overall a great spot about 20 minutes north of the plaza in taos but on the way to the ski area. Mike was very friendly and appreciated the easy check in. definitely recommend with plenty of space and great views!

Page was great. Very responsive with clear instructions. Her place is right above a restaurant—perfect because they close early and it’s super quiet at night. Perfect kitchen with everything we needed. Easy to walk around Taos…literally right outside front door. And drive to Taos Ski Valley was short and quick. Will def stay here again!

We spent 2 nights at Sadie's place. The suite is very roomy and comfortable. It's a good central location for exploring Taos and surrounding areas. Host was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay. Michelle & Fred, Denver, CO - April 2025

My wife and our two daughters decided last minute to take a trip to Angel Fire, NM for Christmas. Luckily Melissa's condo was available and it was fantastic. The condo had plenty of room for the four of us and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Melissa was very responsive and helpful and even gave me a heads up about reserving our tubing time on the mountain. It is a good thing she did because when we got there they were completely booked up! I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone who is wanting to ski in Angel Fire, the mountain is right down the street.

Our family had a great time here. This property has excellent views and is a great mix of a log cabin in a modern world. Robbie was an excellent host and provided great recommendations. It is just a 4 minutes drive to the Angel Fire Ski Resort. We were even able to see deers from the backyard patio. We would definitely come back.

Comfortable and welcoming.

This is the second time my Fiancée and I have stayed at William & Denise's property, we absolutely love it! The proptery is charming, well-maintained and in a great location. The hot tub is amazing after a long day on the slopes. 5 out of 5 would recommend, we'll definitely be back!

Our family have been coming to Angel Fire for snowboarding for 3 spring breaks. Wish I've found Ian's listing sooner - it's the best Airbnb we've stayed at. Easy check-in, got all the essentials, washer / dryer is a plus for our family, plenty pots / pans / dishes, clean and modern interior, right on the bus route, etc. Also I appreciate Ian's responsiveness and friendliness. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem, very homey and comfy. Host is responsive and welcoming. Staying every time I’m in Angel fire!

WE love this little place and the complex. This is our second stay here. Convenient skiing, lots of shops in Taos, great music venues. good restaurants. What more could you want!

Hosts were right on it! Loved that they cleared up any thoughts or concerns we had. The space was clearly set up for our everyday needs. We loved the condo and the whole area of Taos! Felt right at home even though we were clearly not in any kind of landscape familiar to us, coming from New England. Thank you!!
