This place is called ‘forest escape’ and it is exactly that: a beautiful and modern cabin in the middle of the woods. Handmade by the very friendly owners. There is a large home around 30 meters from the cabin, where you can cook and sit, have a hot shower or watch tv. There is also a really good coffee machine with free coffee the whole day! The cabin is private with a view on the woods, and there is a fire place outside and even an outdoor shower. The interior is so nicely decorated with sheep skin and a fireplace, really fits this place. In the main house is a mini shop so you can even take some handmade wooden souvenirs home. Maria, the host, gave us good tips to go and see in the area and she can be reached when you have questions or wishes. Dogs are welcome but not in the service house, in consideration of other guests. We’ve experienced that dogs aren’t allowed in shops or cafes in Torsby. Källberg Forest Escape is a fantastic place for nature lovers! 🌲

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommended.

Amelia & Amer was very accommodating, also asked if everything was okay and we could always reach out to her if we needed anything. To the house itself: the photos don't lie. Such a great and unique place to stay with a relaxed flair, where you can go down and relax from minute one. The house has everything you need and we were able to spend a week so well. Simply wonderful! The place is beautiful and the hosts Pelle and Stina are always available when you need them and super hospitable and accommodating.

Great location, nicely decorated cabins in a cosy atmosphere. Very well equipped kitchens in both units. We were 2 families with 3 kids each and fit perfectly fine. We could not all eat in one unit, but split with adults in one, and kids in one. Icing on the cake was the sauna with attached fireplace - perfect for s’mores :-)
