Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Armstrong County

This is the fourth time my friends and I stayed at the house. We are between 67-86 years old. The lodge and surrounding are beautiful. The only things that we have to bring was food, everything else was provided. We have gone for a boat ride, swimming , fishing, walks,and many others things. Mary Anne takes care of every single detail.

We enjoyed a short stay here while visiting family nearby. The house has been very recently renovated and is extremely attractive and comfortable. It is very well equipped with everything needed, and the hosts went the extra mile to make sure everything was top-notch - this even exceeded expectations. We will very likely look to stay here again for the next family event in Apollo!

This is our third stay! We stayed in the colder months and couldn’t wait to stay in June. It rained Friday night but that did not dampen our spirits as we sat under the pavilion and had a great fire going! Saturday was a gorgeous day! We cooked steaks and veggies, another great fire! We told Randy how clean this farmhouse always is, that is so important to us. Randy gave us the history of the farm, he is third generation and is very proud of his piece of land!!! We had coffee on the back deck, I have the Merlin bird app and tracked 12 different birds! Had a bunny friend eating clover by the front door. No deer 🦌 sightings which we had hoped to see. We are going to plan a stay in October, that is how much we love it here! If you want peace and to relax, this farmhouse is the place to do it!

Diane and Eric are absolutely incredible. There’s a sign above the front door that says “ arrive as guests leave as friends” I think. Lol but it should say “ arrive as guests and leave as family” I missed my wife and kids every day as I stayed out here for months for work, and their hospitality alone and type of people they are made me feel at home. They are truly great people and I’m blessed to have met them, and gained a family out here being 8hrs away from home. When I come back out here next year to finish work I will be staying here again!!!

Maggie’s farm house was very clean and super comfortable. The property is quiet and has views of the rolling green hills. Lots of birdsong and tree frogs and a visit from a young calico cat. We spent evenings on the side porch. Close enough to the town of Indiana for what you’d need but far enough away to feel secluded. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big Sunday breakfast. The bathroom was clean and the shower had strong water pressure. The decor fit the farm house style and all the family pictures made it feel you were having a cozy visit at your relatives.

Their place was great. Exactly as described. But they went beyond being exceptional when they worked with me in checkin and check out times. Since we live 6 hours away having flexibility Was a major help. I can’t say enough about how great these hosts are. House clean and comfy and well stocked. A great check in experience!

Everything about this stay was top-notch. The space was cozy, well-equipped, and ideal for a professional on assignment. The host was proactive and kind, making the whole process smooth. A great experience overall!

The location was exactly what I needed for the purpose of my trip and I was pleasantly surprised to find an Air BnB there. Sia was extremely responsive and almost immediate as well. The location was perfect laying my head and getting to where I needed to go. It was an older home but very clean and very comfy, I would highly recommend anytime you need to stay in the Vandergrift/Ford City area.

Chase is a very accommodating, flexible, professional, and friendly host!!! If I’m ever in need of staying in Kittanning again I will definitely book with Chase!

I was here with my daughter for a bridal shower we drove in for. Have always loved the Kittanning area. So cute and easy to navigate. The apartment was exactly as photographed and all instructions were easy to navigate. There was a binder inside that included restaurants and things in the area to do (if we would have had the time to explore more we totally would have). Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

This was our first time renting an AirBNB and Joshua and Paige were fantastic hosts! Answered all our questions quickly and with kindness

Great place for a nice weekend away! We were here for a boat race so it was nice having somewhere with blackout curtains and a large parking lot! Definitely would stay again

Great place to stay! I highly recommend if you are wanting to stay in the area. Sandra was easy to work with and provide a beautiful place to stay.

He added nice things such as good, non-generic sundry items, dishes, utensils for cooking. Bed comfortable, but no place to hang clothes. Also, sometimes morning commute traffic was audible even though it's off the road. Overall recommended if you don't mind a small space.

This is our second time staying at the location over the Thanksgiving holiday - great place, super clean. It is clear the host pays attention to details! We had another great stay!
