This 800 sq ft suite is an open concept with a large living area and dinning area. There is a queen sized bed, a twin bed, and option of a queen air mattress. There is a 3/4 bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) and a walk in closet. No kitchen but there is a microwave, coffee pot, and mini-fridge. You’ll also have free on premise parking, a private entrance, and high speed internet.

The cottage is located down a short gravel lane shared by the owners. When it rains hard in the Midwest you can expect to walk through puddles. The house was clean and well-maintained, with a beautifully kept garden. The dogs were very friendly, well-behaved, and a joy to be around. The host was also very talkative and pleasant to chat with.

Enjoyed our stay at Shaun's. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen had all you needed to heat up leftovers or make a meal, AC worked great, TV in the bedroom always a plus and we didn't mind the minimal but clean decor. There are stairs to access the unit but they are wide enough for bringing up luggage. Parking was also very convenient and the unit is in a cute neighborhood not far from several restaurants and stores. Would recommend to anyone visiting Omaha.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the stay at this beautiful historic home! Rod and Karen were so responsive and helpful. Our favorite part was the location and the ability to walk to a playground/park, and also to many bars and restaurants! The only thing I would note is that if you are 6ft, or taller, some of the features of the historic home can be challenging like the smaller doorways/bathrooms. Other than that, our stay was perfect! Would highly recommend this place to others staying in Elkhorn or surrounding areas.

We stayed here for two nights as a stopover on our way from Colorado to Wisconsin, with plans to visit the Omaha Zoo and we’re so glad we chose this place! The space was cozy, beautifully decorated, and clearly set up with care and thoughtfulness for guests. Cass was such a kind and generous host, even stocking the place with drinks and snacks, which was a much-appreciated touch after a long day of travel. She also gave us great local recommendations. Ashland is a charming, family-friendly town. After we arrived and unpacked the first night, we walked just down the street to a nearby park to let the kids burn off some energy before bedtime. The next evening, after a full day at the zoo, we explored Ashland’s downtown and stopped for dinner and ice cream. It was the perfect way to wrap up our short stay. All around, it was a relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming stop on our trip. Highly recommend!
