Super private accommodation with superb terrace, everything is clean from the floor to the bed linen and towels. We were 3 couples, we all enjoyed this large house with its 3 bedrooms and bathroom. Sarah and her husband are lovely, we were hosted very well. Just 2 steps from the house is an Intermarché, which is very convenient for some shopping and the gas station :) The place is quiet and the house is well soundproofed. I would 2000% recommend this listing.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was as advertised and in addition we were very well received with the bonus of a small fireplace that was waiting for us which was very nice. I highly recommend it.

Very nice stay for a family. Close to Puy du Fou, that's what made us choose this place. Then when we arrive we see the superb view, the great accommodation, the little touches left by the hosts... very good!

We fell in love with this place conducive to rest and relaxation. The accommodation is very well equipped, and with Anick you immediately feel at home.

Nothing to say. The accommodation is nicely decorated, clean and well-equipped. The garden is maintained and quiet with open views of the fields. Myriam is a very pleasant and available host. We'll be happy to go back!

Thank you for this trip! The accommodation is at the foot of the castle, 5 minutes from the center. It is clean, matches the photos and is very quiet. The weather was not good this weekend, so we stayed inside more than expected. It's bright and pleasant.

A real find! Off the beaten track, but not far from some lovely spots to eat/drink and Saumur's eat to reach. Some lovely touches inside, like the silver birch clothes rail, and beautiful lighting. Restful, luxurious feel to this special place.

clean, well-decorated accommodation. all the necessary items are available, cellophane, cotton, cotton swab, laundry, tea, coffee, it's nice to have everything available for a short stay because we're not going to pack our suitcase and we're not going to do a lot of shopping. The only thing that bothered me is the front door which is not at all secure because it has a bad lock and has a hole blocked with tape so between the insecurity and the soundproofing the front door really deserves to be changed.

Clean and functional accommodation with everything you need for cooking, from condiments to cooking utensils. It's all about walking. We had a pleasant stay and recommend this listing. Thanks to Sarah for hosting us and for the special touches she provided us.

Very nicely decorated, clean accommodation with access to the garden that my kids enjoyed a lot. Julie is responsive and very friendly. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

Well located accommodation, some activities for children nearby and places to see on foot. Very quiet in the evening and 5 minutes from Thouars.

I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

We were hosted very well upon arrival by Patrick's wife. She gave us all the information we needed for a pleasant stay. Thank you for the good homemade jams, a treat. This cottage is ideal for visiting Puy Du Fou.

Impeccable accommodation, properly equipped, perfect location for our weekend of 3 days and 2 nights, Terra botanica on Fridays, discovery of Angers on Saturday and Sunday visit of the castle of Brissac which superbly fenced our stay 🤩 Dynamic and friendly, Aurelie was super welcoming, we'll be happy to come back if the opportunity arises 😊🫶 We recommend the eyes closed 😉👌
