Peggy and her spouse hosted us very well. They were present and good tips for walks near the cottage. We very much enjoyed the small fire in the insert when we arrived and were able to continue to enjoy it on sunny days thanks to the wood provided. Everything was perfect to have a good stay.

Virginia and Erick's home is tastefully decorated and furnished. Quiet location and private garden, everything to have a good time. Functional apartment with everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay. Virginie and Erick are responsive and very kind hosts, who remain available to their tenants. After busy days at Puy du Fou, it was the perfect apartment, away from the crowds to rest. I would highly recommend.

Thank you for this trip! The accommodation is at the foot of the castle, 5 minutes from the center. It is clean, matches the photos and is very quiet. The weather was not good this weekend, so we stayed inside more than expected. It's bright and pleasant.

clean, well-decorated accommodation. all the necessary items are available, cellophane, cotton, cotton swab, laundry, tea, coffee, it's nice to have everything available for a short stay because we're not going to pack our suitcase and we're not going to do a lot of shopping. The only thing that bothered me is the front door which is not at all secure because it has a bad lock and has a hole blocked with tape so between the insecurity and the soundproofing the front door really deserves to be changed.

Clean and functional accommodation with everything you need for cooking, from condiments to cooking utensils. It's all about walking. We had a pleasant stay and recommend this listing. Thanks to Sarah for hosting us and for the special touches she provided us.

We had a great weekend in Saumur. The co-hosts were very responsive and gave us great advice. On a quiet street, the apartment is ideally located, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The bedding is extremely comfortable. We recommend: the castle's burrow, snail restaurant.

Well located accommodation, some activities for children nearby and places to see on foot. Very quiet in the evening and 5 minutes from Thouars.

The studio is old but well-appointed and has complete amenities. On a quiet street, it is a few hundred meters from the city center, shops and the banks of the Loire... Mary is very attentive, helpful and flexible on arrival times. What a great stay.

I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!
