Monthly Rentals in Ardroil

We've just returned from a week in Miavaig. Firstly, I loved all the touches Carol had made to the bedrooms. Lovely linen, towels, face cloths, soaps etc. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were toys for the kids, board games, dvds, books and a garage with dart board, table tennis and extra fridge and freezer space. But it's the location that really makes this place special. There are beautiful beaches in both directions. It's so quiet and peaceful. We spent the week travelling around Lewis and Harris but made sure to spend our last day around our house having special family time at the beach and cooking an Easter Sunday meal. Thanks Carol, your home is a wonderful place.

The weather throughout my stay was very poor, but this cabin was cosy, clean and welcoming, with a handy little kitchen and nice bathroom.

Wonderful location, right on a beautiful sandy beach. The cottage was really nice with everything we needed. It was a great base to explore Lewis and Harris. As someone who likes to watch birds, there was lots of activity in the area. There are sea eagles in the area, I saw them flying above the cottage 6 out of the 7 days we were there.

Tosh's Mangersta Pod is a very special place. Located on the west coast if the Lewis near Uig, it's hard to describe the beauty and wildness of this area. It's stunning, breath-taking and life-giving. Tosh has put a lot of care in the pod and you can feel it. It's cozy, has great amenities (the small kitchen is better outfitted then many kitchens of other air bnb's I've stayed in), and is in an unbeatable location. You are a 10 minute walk away from the sweeping Mangersta beach, and a 10-minute drive away from many other gorgeous beaches and places. Tosh and Jed are friendly and warm and treated us like neighbours and friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience the magic of Lewis.
