Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Arco da Calheta

We spent two nights in J.J.'s house. It is very comfortable, very clean and very well-equipped. Small touches were waiting for us on arrival (fruit and wine). The house has a rooftop terrace where we were able to have an aperitif and eat. It is accessed by a staircase/ladder. The environment is very quiet, there is a beautiful levada that starts above the house.

Very well-maintained, and refreshed in every detail, a home with a beautiful view from the garden to the ocean. The place is as described. Smelly linens, towels, designer furniture and items made it nice to spend time at home However, it is worth noting that it is only for fully fit people - the entrance to the mezzanine where the bed is located requires climbing a steep ladder. The photo is in the description, but it would be helpful to know before making a choice. And it's too dark inside for me personally. It's very individual who likes what spaces, but it's also worth knowing. There is a lot of light in the backyard:)

We were there at the beginning of April. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good at the beginning (storm and rain )but no one can do it. After a warm welcome, we felt very comfortable in the house, which is just totally beautiful from the location and view. Yami had 2 mobile heaters in the house that we could use well. Kitchen superbly furnished, 2 beautiful bathrooms. Due to the storm, the internet did not work, Yami made an effort to make it all work again until it worked. In addition, there is a cat who lives in the house, you should know that. All in all, I would like to book the accommodation again, clear recommendation

The cottage met our expectations as much as possible. Everything was as described and photographed, the interior was tidy and clean. Beautiful neighborhood, the cottage has large glazing through which you can admire the mountains. The host responds quickly to questions, if there's always Aldino in the area, who will also always help, show the farm. During your stay, you can use the fruits and vegetables that grow on the farm. A great place to relax. A great base, located in the north, more or less in the middle, making it close to everything.

A beautiful villa that looks like the photos! The kitchen is functional. The owners are very welcoming and available. The views are breathtaking. Excellent bedding, shower + bathtub! The fruit basket on arrival with a bottle of wine and the sunset! You can't ask for more in this peaceful corner of Madeira!

We had a lovely stay at Steve's house. The location is great and view amazing from the outdoor area. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the communication was perfect.

From the moment of booking this immediately felt good; Carlos helped us with the rental car and waited for us when we arrived; communication was very good. The house is lovely, steep, Portuguese and immediately felt like a warm jacket. The outdoor space is large, pleasant with beautiful views and good BBQ. You can easily cross the whole island from Ribeira and that makes a 2nd location unnecessary.

We had a brilliant experience with Jennifer. She was very helpful and responsive. The house was very clean and well kept. I would recommend to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Amazing view, nature, really beautiful surroundings. Hidden trails for people who are in to non-commercial hiking; you need only look a little. There is already one coming up to the farm, but ask Joana for local advice as she is also really engaged and helpful! We enjoyed the local farmers market in the nearby village, Santo da Serra, and the nearby park, which is also well worth regular visits, Quinta da Junta. We had bread delivered early in the morning, and a fruit basket that was kept topped up, and some amenities in the fridge when we arrived so that we were not foodless (e.g. butter, milk, cheese, eggs and ham). The apartment itself was excellently maintained, with access into the back garden area and sun loungers. We also appreciated the bath after long hikes and beach stays. We suggest renting a car to take full advantage of this part of the island, and where this is not possible using Joana's taxi contact. However, you can reach most places by bus, it just takes longer. Pay close attention to the bus plans. Overall, highly recommended! We want to come back one day :)

The accommodation is very comfortable. It has everything you need. The bedding is impeccable. There is a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view, spacious house. Very well located, hiking, shops nearby, supermarket 4 minutes away and Santana town center.

It's a great apartment with amazing view! The view alone is worth staying here! 😍 Good and quiet location with private parking place. Highly recommended! Just note that it is situated higher above sea level in an open area, so it can get quite windy and cooler than lower locations. Luckily, the provided portable heaters were a lifesaver!

We had a wonderful week in Madeira. Christian's apartment is spacious and clean. There is everything you need. It was pleasant to sleep. The only noise you can hear is the sound of the ocean. There is a small supermarket nearby and a good fish restaurant in the neighboring house. We were happy with our vacation. Thanks Christian!

Awesome views and such a nice garden. Fresh herbs was a nice touch.

We stayed at Bobby's house for 4 nights and the truth is everything was perfect, from the first moment they were concerned about our arrival and gave us directions, apart from that the views of the accommodation were amazing, and the incredible pool, we would repeat without a doubt. A pleasure to meet them and the island too.
