Entire upper floor with private entrance in archipelago house with roots from the 18th century. The house is located in the "village" in the middle of the island with walking distance to swimming in all directions, 30 meters to the grocery store and 10 minutes walk to the ferry location Bratten. From the balcony with evening sun, you can see sheep grazing in the meadow. The accommodation has two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Washing machine available in the bathroom, working wood stove in the kitchen. The accommodation is approximately 75 square meters.

If you want to combine with the city life in Gothenburg, you can drive there in 15 minutes. Even closer to large shopping centers. In addition, we have two extra beds to use for those of you who have children with you. Summer time is included in the cottage but max 8 people in total. It is a hidden idyll that was once a holiday island for Volvo employees. At that time, the island was called Trälen. You see Björkö, Karlatornet and Marstrand from the island.

It is a five-minute walk to the sea and in the bay there is a rowboat that you can borrow. On the island, there is a fish shop and restaurant, also a five-minute walk from the house. Nature on the island is diverse with open sea and cliffs to the west, small farms and forests in the middle of the island.

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option. The house is 30 m2, high ceilings, 1 sleeping loft, fireplace, bathroom, washing machine, kitchen, underfloor heating, patio and a large lovely garden with space for barbecue and hanging in the hammock among the apple trees. The decor is rustic and sometimes we use the house as a studio. Nature reserve, cliffs and sea just around the corner and also a grocery store and an inn 5 minutes away.
