Quite and breath taking scenary. Would recommend for a weekend get away.

oh. my. goodness. there are no words for the experience we had here. the location was absolutely beautiful with all the different weather, snow, rain, tornadoes!!! there are so many trails to ride here, come on bring them them ATVS!!!! Kevin and Ashley were above and beyond helpful through everything!!! great people!!! absolutely loved it here, hope to be back!!!

I've stayed several times and always enjoy it. this time I ventured about a mile or two up the road. there's a nature area with a spring, trails and trout fishing. Definitely recommend as well

Juat a peaceful, beautiful, calm, relaxing place to unwind, have some good food, soak in the hotub, enjoy nature, go for a walk, see the fireflies, You name it. If you work to much oike my wifw and I and need a place to reat and unwind and destress, look no further. Thank you for Hosting us, G+P

So thankful for this getaway! We got some time away from the kids and enjoyed this sweet cabin and the amenities. I left my wedding band and they graciously mailed it to me. Very satisfied with staying here! The river was too high to float but I’m sure it will be lovely next year when we come a little closer to the summer season. Blessings!

I stayed here for work. I got excellent sleep during my stay. The area is peaceful and private. It was a fantastic place for my dogs. The grill and picnic table were a must on my days off.

It was mostly rainy during our stay however that didn’t stop us from having fun. Our kiddos learned to kayak, loved playing in the sand at the beach, fished and loved “swimming” in the hot tub. We can’t wait to check out the other cabins. It was nice that phone service did not work well but the WiFi was good enough for emergencies and checking in on the world but not good enough that the kids wanted to spend their time on their devices. We will be back!

The place was nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. It has a screened in porch to hang out in. We went the week before it was fully staffed so most activities and meals were not available to us - which we were not aware of before arriving. There were still enough things to do. Manager was kind and accommodating and took time to give us a boat ride. We had awful storms one night and they had a good safety plan and management was helpful. Pros: had plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, towels. The queen bed was comfy and full size kitchen equipment was nice to have. Cons: the bunk beds are not great for adults with pain/back issues. There was no extra bedding (but we didn’t ask for any so that may be an option). Roads are rutted out so my low profile car had come issues driving in and out. We would definitely go back!

Great stay in Cadet! It was comfortable, the playground for the kids made the weekend so easy! A fire in the evening for s'mores, lounge chairs to relax, and a close walk to the creek. Host was responsive when I had a question. We would definitely stay again

One of the nicest, roomiest cabins I've stayed in South, SW Missouri. Cute little cluster of four cabins around centralized pavilion that had nine picnic tables under it. It was right in town, so convenient. I liked the large bathroom and there were dining trays that came in handy. I had two pets and the pet fees were cheapest I've found, $10 each. Lots of towels too... some places aren't very generous with them.

We loved it!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! We loved the quiet, beautiful neighborhood; we loved learning the history of the home as well as the history of the area (we even got a fantastic rundown of the Battle of Pilot Knob by your local visitor center curator!); we loved Elephant Rocks, Caledonia, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins; and we loved our family movie nights in your family room. Thank you so much.

We loved staying in Katelyn's cabin! We had an amazing weekend that couldn't have happened without the friendliness and accommodations our host provided. The cabin was very easy to use and was well set up to accommodate all of our needs. We plan to come back to visit as a family again and hope to book with Katelyn! Thank you again!

We loved the cabin! The smell of fresh cut cedar when you walk in is the best smell in the world! We loved the cozyness of the space. The location for us was perfect because our family only lives minutes away! We will definitely be back as there is so much more that we want to do and explore . Zack was a great host, always responded timely and had clear instructions on check-in and check-out.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cabin at Charleville, hosted by the fantastic Kassie, nestled in Ste. Genevieve’s wine country. Here’s what made it truly memorable: - Steps away from Charleville, with a perfect from porch for sitting. - A peaceful walk to nearby Chaumette - worth the hike. - Friendly staff and ownership at the brewery; you’ve gotta try the pizza!

We really appreciated the clear directions on how to get to the location, which is a little tricky to see in the dark. The location and view from the porch is beautiful! I wish it wouldn’t have been raining and we had more time to explore. Would definitely stay again :)

Location was great Michael was very nice and responded asap to any questions that I had . Looking forward to next year . .

We wanted a place close to family, found it, only problem was you could hear the big trucks go by at 4 in the morning. And my dog did not like the floor, to slippery, so we went and bought a couple of runner rugs so he could move around. Other than that all was good. We never went fishing nor into the game room, to busy visiting family. Only slept and used washer and dryer. Next time we will bring fishing poles and something to cook out with on grill. Recommend Kim

We had a great time staying at this place. It is extremely clean & put together. If you’re on the porch it’s pretty secluded but you do hear cars coming up the road & the other cabin is fairly close to the other side. Also make sure you have a vehicle with 4wd. We went through a few spots with fairly deep water since it had just rained and the incline getting there can be tough when it’s wet.

Great and peaceful stay

We had a great time here. So peaceful and quaint and they provided firewood. We were looking for somewhere to stay while we explored Taum Sauk, Elephant Rocks, and Johnsons Shut-ins. All of which were breath taking. If you are looking for a cabin hear Johnsons shut-ins look no further. Thank you Kelly!

Carol's place is amazing. The cabin is on a farm off the beaten path. The cabin was perfect, there were 7 of us and it was comfortable. It had all of the basics. There are picnic tables and a grill. The front porch is screened in. The scenery is beautiful. One of the best features is the horses and cows right out the back door. Some of them really like apples and carrots. One guy tried to eat them all. There are at least 3 dogs on the property who wandered over to say hi. They came by a couple of times and stayed for just a few minutes. There is about a 1/3 mile path you can walk or drive down to the river with a nice swimming spot. The whole time we were there we kept saying how wonderful Meramec Farm is. If you are looking for something local to do the Wild Animal Adventure Park up the interstate a few miles was really cool. I really recommend paying extra (at least for the kids) for the different animal encounters. I highly recommend this cabin and location.
