Vacation rentals with a patio in Apple Valley Lake

We stayed at Laura’s cabin for our 28th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy, clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the fireplace, and the hot tub was amazing — just what we needed to unwind. The loft area was adorable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Laura even surprised us with a small cake for our anniversary and had a heart made of rose petals on the bed — such a thoughtful and special touch! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic escape. Thank you, Laura, for making our anniversary unforgettable!

This property was exactly what we needed. Although a bit cosmetically dated, it is spacious, well maintained and clean! Melissa was very accommodating.

My family and I (6 adults, 2 children) had a wonderful stay at Jesse's place. The home was beautiful, nicely decorated with plenty of things to do inside and out! The beds were comfortable and we felt right at home. We had fun playing some of the games provided. Also, sitting out on the deck and by the lake was so peaceful. We enjoyed the backyard to the fullest (kayaking, the hot tub, fishing, and the fire pit). We had one small issue and Jesse responded quickly and came and fixed the problem immediately. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and I hope to be back myself!

Stayed with you our two daughters for 2 nights, it was perfect. Host was friendly, communication was easy. House was cozy and clean. Stocked with games and other welcoming accommodations, kid friendly.Plenty of places to hike and walk and we all loved the hot tub. Great place

Such a beautiful and enjoyable place to get away. We were able to go kayaking in the pond as they had one there. The paddle boat fit four people which was perfect for our little family. The kitchen was fully equipped. The gas fireplace had a remote, a nice touch at night. Two bedrooms each room having a queen size bed. The beds were super comfy. Closets were nice One bedroom had a fan above the bed with a remote to it which was very nice as we like to sleep with a fan. The bathroom was super clean, shower was very big in size. I love to take hot showers. The water was so relaxing. Amazing amount of fish in the massive pond. Bass were unbelievably huge in size. There was a goose sitting and the gander protecting them. Mallard ducks flew across the pond landing in and out. Beautiful sight to see. Turtles basking in the sun. Three fishing poles were provided, along with a tiny tackle box. Life jackets are provided. Extra blankets, towels, washclothes, and soaps. Hot tub was nice

Tim was a great host! The A-Frame was the perfect weekend getaway where I could rest and recharge. The house was on the back of their farm and hanging out on the back deck and by the fire in the evening was the best way to end the day. The property is also near some great hiking destinations as well. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, you will love it here. I’d definitely recommend and I hope to come back soon!

What a gem. So unique and top quality everything. A very romantic and private place that has all you could need for a truly memorable stay. Felt like a 5 star hotel room inside with all the beautiful amenities but a private cottage in the middle of the woods. Wife and I stayed during torrential rain which lasted all night but there wasn’t a single leak and the heaters kept the place completely toasty. There are instructions printed everywhere to explain how any little thing works, the place was spotless and stocked with so many thoughtful items, and we had an amazing time staying inside even if we didn’t get to enjoy the amazing looking patio (hot tub was steamy, ready, and tempting too but the rain never stopped). Parking, entry, and exit easy breezy. View of the river and woods from a deliciously comfortable and cozy bed. Impossible to be disappointed with this truly unique Ohio gem.

Very cozy space! Looked exactly like the pictures! Very comfortable bedding on the bed. The host was very responsive to my questions. Overall, great place to stay in Amish country!

What a great long weekend! We celebrated our 35th anniversary by visiting Holmes County, Ohio. We are fans of the White Cottage Company YouTube channel and watched the Apple Blossom cottage being built and decorated. The cottage was perfect. The bed was comfortable, and the landscape views created a relaxing environment.
