Waterfront House, stunning location with Hot Tub

JoeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

The house was perfect for our stay with a family of seven. The kids loved the spacious lounge and plenty of places including garden to play games. The carved wood features made the house feel homely and comfortable including large table for family dinners. The view was breathtaking every day and it was easy to do walks from the house around the coast or into surrounding hills. Definitely recommended for a fantastic holiday on Skye.

Fiona was a wonderful host, very proactive and friendly. Beautiful fresh flowers and coffee, tea and biscuits were a lovely touch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the views over the loch were lovely. There were also lots of good games and puzzles. The overall cleanliness could have been improved, in particular the kitchen but didn't detract from our stay. Thank you Fiona

Stunning Beach house in West Highlands

AndreaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We had a wonderful time here! The house is modern, very comfortable and cozy and the views are breathtaking. We were there with our own car and liked to drive to Isle of Skye a lot wich was great to have the Skye Ferry Station so close by, only a few minutes drive from the house. Also locations like Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Eilean Donan Castle, Loch Ness, Inverness, were close enough to make a day trip towards and we absolutely loved it! The Highlands are amazingly wild and beautiful. On Skye we liked to visit Broadford (The Coffee Bothy was our go to for coffee and cakes!) ,The Fairy Pools, Neist Point, Old man of Storr and Kilt Rock to name a few. The house itself was the perfect home away from home to do all this great exploring from. In the evening we would cozy up by the woodfire and do some amazing stargazing! Sophie was very kind and helpful with information and a great host. We loved it, were definitely not ready to go home yet and will be back!
