Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Appenzell

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located right on the lakeshore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful time in the Bijouhaus (2 adults, 4 children). The Bijouhaus was clean, fresh, bright and immediately created a feel-good atmosphere for us. Many leisure activities are quickly and easily accessible by car. The best strawberries of all time are available in the farm shop (5 minutes' walking distance) :) Andrea responded quickly and personally to any concerns or questions. Thank you for the wonderful time, we highly recommend the Bijouhaus...

The communication with Gerda before and during the stay is fine. Upon arrival, she showed us everything and explained everything. Gerda is very kind and very helpful. She insists not to ask for anything. She responds quickly to our questions and check in between if everything is to your liking. The apartment is beautifully decorated and in impeccable condition. You can feel right at home. The rooms are large and modern. There is a very large garden with stunning mountain views. All in all, highly recommend.

We stayed at Eden Cottage for 3 nights in mid June, as a family of 4 adults and our dog. Big thanks to our host Martina, who was very prompt and supportive with any of our requests. Checking into the house was very easy, and all house rules were clearly communicated. A Things-To-Do folder made it easy for spontaneous activity ideas. The house is well located in the countryside of Stein am Rhein, and is very close to supermarkets. The railway station, Rhine river and old town are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The house itself is ideal for 4 people and a pet. All amenities are available, and the interior decor is great and thoughtful. The large garden is beautiful with many plants and trees. Our dog really enjoyed himself exploring around the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

Very nice converted barn. You feel right at home. It has everything you need. From the coffee machine to the vacuum cleaner. The balcony is set back and you have your peace. No one can see it and you also have a bit of a lake view. A dream. However, people who rely on cell phone reception or mobile Internet are in a bad position here. Cell phone reception is almost non-existent and the WiFi was not stable in our case. There were probably issues with the repeater. But it didn't bother us. We'll be back for sure.

Very clean and nice place with the charm of your own little cabin. We felt very comfortable. Centrally located and very friendly hosts.

The location where the cottage is located is really nice! You have a great view of the Säntis and can start hiking directly from the accommodation. The place was as described, only the curtains were a little too translucent for us. We were on site with two dogs and felt very comfortable :-)

We had a truly wonderful stay, not only because the apartment had everything we needed, but also thanks to the hosts, who are absolutely fantastic people. Everything was perfect, and we wholeheartedly recommend both the accommodation and the location. We will definitely recommend this stay to others and hope to return in the future!.

The chalet was extremely pleasant and cozy – we felt at home. The location is ideal: In less than 20 minutes we were on the ski slope by car. Great place, we'll be happy to come back!

We spent two weeks there with our 7-month-old dog and were very satisfied. Super nice apartment with fantastic pool and large garden (shared with the owners and other residents), where you can relax. Good location for hiking in the area and excursions to Austria, Liechtenstein or even Bavaria. The hosts are helpful and available if you need to know something. All in all highly recommended 🙏🏻

A dark, clean site is as described on the website🙏 Located in the middle of an agricultural village, this magnificent circus trailer is perfect for anyone who loves nature, simplicity, sobriety in an idyllic setting. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay in an apartment that was so well maintained and clean. Location was beautiful with very fresh and clean mountain environment.

The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. The check-in instructions were clearly defined and easy to follow, but the check-out was a bit inaccurate, which was not a problem as we only stayed for one night. The view on the spacious balcony is breathtaking and the surroundings very quiet. We particularly liked the newly renovated bathroom, especially the shower. The kitchen was also super equipped. The oil heater heats regularly, although we got slightly cold in the living room after some time, which can also be due to the outside temperatures. We found the smell of heating oil to be no longer disruptive after a short time. The bedroom was cozy and the bed relatively comfortable. The private parking was free. Overall, we were very happy with the space.

We enjoyed our vacation in the accommodation very much. The hikes are all super accessible by car and you can walk to the lake wonderfully with the dog. Here it is recommended to know where the dog beach is, as the bathing meadow has strict dog bed prohibition. The apartment was very pleasantly cold despite the high temperatures outside. The garden is very well maintained and invites you to the aperitif outside, as it is also fenced. We would leave again, highly recommended

House is very clean, nice kitchen and bathroom. Location is near st. Gallen and appenzell and lots of grocery store near by. Also if you are into hiking there’s a lot of places to go on hikes and other sports. Wi-fi connection is very good. And if you have a child they also have a crib and a high chair. We would love to come back soon to explore the city. Would rate the apartment definitely a 10 out of 10. Thanks a lot Andy! See you soon.

We felt very welcome right from the start. The hosts are very nice and friendly. We kept talking to each other. Communication was great. The amenities in the apartment are great. Everything is available for cooking. Lots of loving details in the decor. Nothing was missing. The place is highly recommended!

We wanted to spend the weekend away from everything to enjoy nature and this place was perfect for doing just that. Everything was wonderful. We felt right at home. The views of the valley and mountains are beautiful. The chalet was very clean. We cooked our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Even our dogs loved it. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and cow bells. There are hiking trails that you can start right from the chalet. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

The little cottage was perfect for our short stay. We really felt like we were in paradise! Everything we needed was available, the reception was very warm and uncomplicated, our requests were always responded to promptly. The house is a real treasure trove, lovingly furnished and decorated and simply wonderfully located. The hosts are uncomplicated, quick to respond and very friendly! Highly recommended!

We had a great time in the tiny house. 🥰 Even though we didn't spend quite as much time there, it was a great place to start the day and also to end it in the evening. During the day, we were always hiking. 🥾 We were particularly impressed by the numerous loving details & delicacies that we found little by little. Clear recommendation! 🧡

Our second trip to Switzerland and this was our first stop on the trip. We were blown away with the view! This place has it all. Views out of every window, radiant heat, hiking trails galore and everything you need for comfort. The duvets were like giant, soft puffy clouds! There is a restaurant literally right outside your door and nothing else but trails to different locations. Be mindful that the gondola to get here on runs from 8:30am-5-30pm so plan accordingly or you'll have a grueling 1.5-2 hour walk from the bottom. You cannot get here by car. We loved that part! Another pro tip - The 10 minute walk from the gondola to the cottage is a gravel road. We had to drag our suitcases to and from. It's uphill back to the gondola. But none of that will matter when you see the views from the gravel path and the living room window! This place is heaven on earth. Bettina was always quick to respond and super friendly. She made everything seamless! Book it!!
