A wonderful place to stay—even better than described! Stunning views and a fantastic host who is kind, accommodating, and understanding. If visiting during winter, keep in mind that a powerful vehicle is necessary to drive up and down the slippery hill.

We stayed as a group for a weekend in the unique Chalet Chnorz. It's not easy to describe Chalet Chnorz with words. The many loving work that has been put into this place can only be guessed. After two days, I felt like I still didn't discover all the corners. True paradise to just escape the old day. A brilliant get-away experience. Ralf gave us good advice from the beginning, warmly welcomed us and also saw during the stay that all our wishes were fulfilled. Even after leaving, he took care of our lost-and-found material. Thank you and maybe see you soon

we were happy we have stayed at Falkenlodge's. the house is well equipped and located in a beautiful surrounding, and close to Appenzell. the host is very friendly and answered all our questions. If I have the opportunity to visit Switzerland in the future, will stay again at Falkenlodge.

Nice, simple place to stay. Very friendly hosts with a heart for dogs (especially on New Year's Eve). It was super clean!!! Cozily furnished chalet. Extremely creaky floor 🤣 When the child is asleep, it is hardly possible to move quietly. But that was the only negative point. Overall highly recommended. Especially great in winter, as it is extremely close to the Schlitzenhang. Shopping within 5 minutes' walking distance. Excellent!

We throughly enjoyed it, Patricia and her team are excellent host. They provided everything family need in the camp, we stayed in one of Chalets, was Cousy and pleasant. There was toilet and sink in our Chalet. Kids loves this place, there plenty for them to do including huge trampoline and swings, my kids made good friends there, we too had opportunities to meet lively families there to share our travelling experiences. Do not hesitate to book a place here if you in the north east Switzerland

2 adults and 4 children between the ages of 3 and 7. We stayed at Chalet Alpenrose for 4 days. Very nice manageable holiday village. Everything clean and great play facilities for children. Dealing with the other guests was easy and relaxed, also with the team. We would recommend the holiday village at any time.

We were able to spend wonderful days with our two dogs in this enchanting chalet. The house is extremely cozy and warmly furnished. We enjoyed long hikes on site, which were great with the dogs. Karina is exceptionally warm, helpful and responds quickly. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend this charming chalet with fenced garden and great views.

When you enter the authentic Appenzellerhaus, it makes you feel right at home. You can tell that the house is inhabited, because everything you need is available. There is an incredible amount of interesting things to discover throughout the house, whether it's books, pictures or objects. The furnishings are unique and inspiring. As a guest, you feel welcome, because everything is prepared in a friendly way. The host is very reliably available and extremely straightforward. We really enjoyed our vacation days in this unusual home and in the beautiful, quiet area.

The house is beautifully located and also super nicely decorated. It is freestanding and with no direct neighbors. Arriving by public transport will probably be difficult, but it was perfect for us! It's a real adventure to explore the house and all its details. Everything was clean and the contact with the hosts was good. We would have liked to have stayed longer and next time we would come in the summer, so we can also enjoy the beautiful turnaround:) Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Our stay with the whole family was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the chalet and felt very comfortable. The Swedish stove heated the chalet very quickly and it was very cozy.

The house is what I would think of as a ski dream cabin. Quaintly furnished, spotless equipment (games, kitchen equipment, everything there, lots of love in the decor) and the ski resorts right around the corner. We will definitely be back. ☺️

We enjoyed our short break very much, which was also due to great weather. The cottage is rustic, the fireplace wonderful, and the proximity to the many hiking trails perfect. We only missed more storage space for clothes. Anyone who wants to get to know Switzerland, away from the city, looking for tranquility and mountain idyll, and also willing to hike a few steps, will find the right place here. Many thanks also to the hosts. Everything was wonderfully prepared and above all uncomplicated. We would love to come back.

The chalet is very spacious. In addition, you have a magnificent mountain panorama and the chalet itself is a successful interplay of old and new. The kitchen is really extremely well equipped, better than at home ;) You can walk to the slopes maybe 2-3 minutes, even less on the way home.

We had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is very comfortable and the fire was much needed after a day of skiing. The view is breathtaking and we enjoyed our morning tea looking out across the lake and mountains. We loved playing board games in the evening at the large dining table. Fabienn is a marvellous host. Super helpful, knowledgable and friendly.

Beautiful authentic farm in a fantastic environment! The farm is relatively isolated in the pastures, we hiked a lot from the house. The surroundings of the farm offer a lot of play possibilities and the ping-pong table made available is a plus! The house is large and there is a closet filled with games and toys to occupy any rainy moments. Attention to people of high stature: the ceilings are low! A big thank you to our hosts for sharing this little piece of heaven!

We loved our stay at Gary's chalet. A real Swiss Alpine feeling, enough space, all amenities available and perfect for a ski visit to the flumserberg!! Recommended!

What a fantastic stay we had! Everything you could need was provided and there were plenty plates, glasses, pans etc. The whole house was very clean and plenty space for our group of 8 adults.
