Nice house, pool was great

As a solo woman traveler and digital nomad, this was a perfect first stop on my journey. It’s a very safe area with a supermarket next door and a variety of cafes, bakeries, and restaurants in walking distance. I did not rent a car but I was perfectly fine with getting a taxi to go into the city center or to the beach! I got a great deal on a 4 week stay and the host is hospitable. I have 0 complaints, highly recommend.

We went for a peaceful break, that is what we got. The description matched everything and it was just what we were after. There was a nearby supermarket and choices of restaurants just a short drive away. Everything we needed was within the house and everything worked as it should. We would highly recommend here for a couple seeking a quiet break with the options to visit the wider area.

We LOVED our stay at Butterfly, and felt sad when we left! We came to Crete for a week for a birthday celebration, and wanted to be a little out of the tourist areas. Our check in was seamless, and Theo from Muses travel was always contactable to help us out with anything. The WiFi wasn’t working properly when we got there, and everyone went out of their way to get it fixed for us. The village of Armeni was beautiful and had an excellent mini market (shoutout to Niko), and a couple of great restaurants. Rethymno is a beautiful city which is just 10 minutes away. There were four of us so it was reasonably priced to hire a driver for our day trips, so we saw Knossos and Heraklion, and then also took a day trip to Spili, Agia Galini and Matala. If we ever get back to Crete would LOVE to return to Butterfly.🦋
