Monthly Rentals in Annezay

We were there for a fortnight and loved it as it was so relaxing and also perfect for our dogs. The rooms are all of a generous size and the house and grounds have a real ambience and authentic feel of a traditional country family home. We got to meet the charming neighbour and her dog, and Claude himself when he paid us a visit with his son. Patrick, his son in law was prompt with our enquiries and very helpful. The pool gets all day sun until around 8.30 in the evening, and the whole property is protected by mature trees and hedges. Like all old country homes, it was a little battered around the edges and required a delicate sensitivity with some of the belongings. The beds were very comfortable, and we did not get sore joints at all - even after two weeks! It was our first extended stay in France after a decade of summers in Portugal, and staying at Claude’s home has convinced us to keep coming back to the country. We recommend his house very highly and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time! The house is very nice, quiet and perfectly equipped, ideal for a weekend with friends. The environment is relaxing, while being close to La Rochelle, which makes it easy to enjoy the activities and the city. I recommend it without hesitating! Thanks to Valerie and Phillipe!

Ariane's cottage is ideally located in the historic city center but quiet, close to the market, cinema and parking. An old but well-equipped home with wide, clear rooms. A great stay.
