Sofiahuset has been in our family since 1908. It is now renovated and has all the comfort of a modern home as well as charm from the past. Conveniently close to the E16 road between Voss and Bergen. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

Nyt late dager med fiske og turer i skjærgården ved Kilstraumen. Naust og brygge er ca 5 min gange fra døren. Fiske fra land i Kilstraumen, dykking, kajakk, svømming er aktiviteter som passer fint her. Leie av båt er tilgjengelig etter avtale. Turløype på ca 3 km i skog/stier begynner like ved, og ved låven er det muligheter for lek og ballspill. Krabbekoker og bålpanne er tilgjengelig for tilberedning av dagens fangst. Velkommen skal dere være til vårt lille Paradis ved kysten.
