We spent ten days of absolute rest in a dream place. Having that deck and being able to enter that wonderful sea were the best vacations. We recommend bringing snorkel gear as you can see turtles and lots of fish right there. Also a lot of good repellent, as the island has many mosquitoes. Eduardo is a great host, always attentive and responds quickly. The house is just as it appears in the photos, simple and comfortable, with an amazing view.

I stayed at the Retiro da Dorothee beach house 1 month with my family (4 people and 2 dogs) The house is wonderful, the retreat area is super quiet and quiet, and 15 minutes from the city of Angra. We had people working in meetings at the same time and the Internet super fast and stable. The dogs loved the stay, super wide backyard, the beach is quiet. Dorothee was very kind, and went further than expected. The village put a net around the yard so that we can be calm about the dogs not leaving. Mr Nilson is super nice and always ready to help. He lives on the property that is the only downside of the house for privacy reasons. But it is very discreet and not intrusive. I recommend it! 5 stars. I'll want to return.

I loved my stay at this place as well as André's warm approach. The visit to the beehives and orchard was a highlight, both soothing and enriching. The apartment is nice and very clean, although a little dark (being located on the ground floor). The place is in a less crowded part of the island, which offers beautiful tranquility. However, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to a beach suitable for swimming. A perfect place for those looking for calm and nature. André's welcome was exceptional: he even kindly offered transportation to Angra. Feel free to ask them for suggestions to discover beautiful places or water activities — their advice is valuable!

Juliana's house is very comfortable and cozy , the pier at the front of the house gives an extra charm and a huge practicality to those who want to ride a speedboat. The swimming pool was always clean as was the house. Dona Estela, the diarista, was super helpful and made us a delicious fish. We'll be back for sure !

Lovely home with lovely, almost private beach. Can recommend getting house and food help, it was a great value for us. Maria Inês is a great host, always responsive and very helpful. So was our housekeeper. We came in a family of 5 (children 9, 10 and 13) in the month of February and we can highly recommend the place. There was lots of life in the water next to the house, we saw all kinds of fish as well as turtles every now and then.

We had a great time at Juliana’s. The house is very spacious, comfortable and very well located. Her family lives and works right next door and they were super welcoming and helpful, proving always really good recommendations of things to do and how to book. We felt right at home as soon as arrived! The food at the restaurant to the house is absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve been in the state of Rio. The island is beautiful, a smaller and more quiet version of ilha grande but just as beautiful. We will definitely come back if we have the chance! Thanks again, Juliana and family!!

Livio and his family were super kind and attentive, and the tips they gave us made the trip even better! I think if we weren't by car, some activities would have been a little more limited, but that wasn't the case and we used it too much. It has beaches very close by where we are completely alone, and others with a little more people, but never more than 10 people. The water is warm, full of fish, and we even saw a turtle swimming among the rocks! In front of the house, there is a beautiful pier to enjoy the late afternoon. We managed to take a boat ride that caught us right at this dock of the house and it was just amazing. When we arrived, the house was impeccable, super comfortable and had everything we needed for the day to day. Thanks, Livy and family, and thank you Angra! They were wonderful days!

The house is wonderful. Great Spaco, clean, cozy. The all-new play hall, the volleyball court was a sensation over the weekend. Everyone liked and duvertiched. The space of the house is made to take advantage of it outside. Many leisure and rest options. It has trees in the backyard and lots of nature. Perfect place. Amazing. I'll definitely come back more often.
