Karla was an absolute superstar host. My parents were camping in Martin Dies State Park and we just needed something relatively close to spend the day with them. It was a very last minute booking. This lil place is out in the country and very homey. Slept like a rock both nights in the very comfortable bed. We loved seeing the cows out in the back. Would definitely stay again.

Loved our peaceful stay. It was much bigger than it looks in pictures and there were so many thoughtful details inside. We enjoyed it! Everything you need is here. Wildarene was also so sweet and called a neighbor for us when we needed car help. We highly recommend staying here!

Nestled away from the city, The Little Red Barn is quaint and cute located deep in the heart of East Texas. Though set on a working property, the home itself is beautifully designed with all the modern comforts you need. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and there are plenty of games and outdoor activities to enjoy. It was lovely to wake up sipping coffee on the porch while watching cows and horses graze nearby. This is such a calming way to start the day and do a little journaling. What truly made the stay unforgettable were the hosts, Angela and Bobby. When I had unexpected car trouble, they stepped in without hesitation. Their kindness and hometown hospitality were above and beyond, and honestly rare to come by these days. If you’re seeking a quiet, welcoming getaway where you can unwind and feel at home, this is the place!
