Lake Superior Beachfront Cottage

EmilyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This beachfront cottage was everything advertised and more. Comfy beds, strong hot water, really well-equipped kitchen, fire pit…and the VIEW. We went in early October and the leaves were just turning. The cottage was a perfect central spot for all of our scheduled day trips to the provincial parks and sights in the area - even close to downtown. Mike was SO kind - welcomed us warmly and gave us local insights and tips about our planned stops. He even took the time to message us and point out the northern lights on two separate nights. 1000% would come back.

A wonderful place to call home! Breathtaking views, convenient location, and Alexandra was so helpful when we forgot a charging cable for our kiddo's medical device. AND checked in with us during the snow storm, then immediately shoveled the (extensive) driveway first thing in the morning. Would definitely recommend & stay here again!
A scenic view of the cottage from the lake shows multiple terraced decks surrounded by greenery. A dock with a ladder leads into the tranquil water. Tall trees provide privacy, and the sky features scattered clouds illuminated by sunlight.

My family absolutely loved this camp. It’s so spacious and beautiful. Waking up every morning to have my coffee overlooking the peaceful lake was a dream. We used the floating dock and supplied floats. I also really appreciated all the outdoor seating Mike had not old down at the beach but by the fire place .

One Island Lake Camp

This is a lovely spot to stay on the peninsula. It’s close to both lakes so you can canoe anywhere. The August long weekend was a little busy on the lake but then it got quiet on Monday. Michael is very friendly and was a great host. All cooking and bbq supplies were available. It was a week to remember for us. Thank you Michael and Julie.

Yurt Camping Retreat in the Forest!

WendyRating, 5 stars45 months ago
If you are looking for an accommodating and attentive host who is so lovely, Natasha is someone you should think to book with. My two twenty-something daughters and I stayed in Natasha’s yurt, where we got to take in nature. We also learned about how Natasha teaches students (she has a forest school) in her yurt. She is an inspirational person who is making this world a better place. We consider our stay with Natasha one of the highlights of our trip.

Three Sails - Beach House

SiobhanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The camp was beautiful and comfortable with everything one needed. I have a severe health issue and they bent over backward to try to accomodate me. I had made a comment to them about not having a bath, and they responded thet the photo of the bathroom showed that it didn't, so I just missed that. Brian responded quickly to all my questions. I was probably a difficult guest considering my specific needs so I was just hoping things would work out for me. All in all, I would recommend this space highly and am grateful to Brian and Donna for their pateince and kindness.
