First of all, Severine is the most gracious host I have ever encountered. She went out of her way to help us feel welcomed, comfortable, and eager to return. The house is incredible, the setting is breathtaking, and it’s easy to feel right at home in La Roche. Our two boys (6 and 11) loved the walk through the woods to visit the castle or chocolate shop, and otherwise kept themselves busy with foosball, table tennis, swings and soccer. For those that like to cook, you’ll find the kitchen perfectly appointed and will easily make friends with the local shop owners, especially Ahmed the grocer! This was more than a stay, it was a peak life experience and I cannot recommend it enough.

This was my first solo weekend and I don't regret anything. Philippe and Jenny were really very nice and not intrusive at all. I loved this tastefully refurbished barn, extremely warm. Favorite for the beautiful beams, the floor tiles, the wall tiles. And then the large garden, Athena, the sweet dog, the village and its old stone farmhouses, its cobblestones, its nature. I liked everything! And we're really comfortable in this place. Usually, I admit that I need to move a few things around to my liking to feel good, but everything was perfectly fine where it was. And what a beautiful region, which makes you want to come back! The welcome booklet was very useful for targeting my visits. Thanks so much Philippe and Jenny! This beautiful home in this beautiful environment and your friendly presence were a big part of the success of this weekend :)
