Waterfront vacation rentals in Ameland

There were four of us (children 2 and 7 years old) on vacation here. The apartment is well equipped, located in a quiet hotel complex. The highlight of every day was the swimming pool! You're there in a minute, just great for kids! The surroundings are magical, Hollum is a wonderful little place and the sea is of course unsurpassed. You can park the car and bicycles right outside the door. All in all highly recommended!

We had a great stay! The apartment is in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you are in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. We had a nice stay in this apartment. The apartment has everything you need. Also nice that we could use the amenities of the hotel, such as the swimming pool and sauna. Very nice that we were allowed to use the bikes.

Roger was a perfect and very kind host. His project of an B&B in the old school is cosy and beautiful. We enjoyed the time in Wierum (it is reeeeeally a quite place)

It felt like we had two cottages for the price of one. An upper floor, fresh and particularly tastefully furnished. Lots of nice touches. Beautiful crockery, nice elaborate bird theme, cozy sitting area by the window overlooking the canal. Downstairs a beautiful bathroom and - few steps outside - a very cozy lounge with jungle wallpaper, a wonderfully large corner sofa, cozy mood lights and also again overlooking the canal. Here we relaxed in the evening by the wood stove. Likeable hostess. In short: lots of quality for little money. We would go back here in a heartbeat.

Goasse is a nice host, easy to communicate with. The kitchen with seating area is well equipped. At the table you have a fantastic view over the countryside. For the colder nights, there is even a small heater to make it even more pleasant. The neat spacious bathroom is between the kitchen and the bedroom. The bedroom has a very good bed, this is the nicest I slept on in an airb&B.

What a nice cozy place on the waterfront! It looks super nice inside, neat, tidy and clean. The terrace was lovely in the afternoon in the sun! Within a 10-minute walk you are in the city center so that was also great.

Had a super nice stay at Bas! The location is perfect – right at the foot of the Oldehove and right in the center. The apartment was clean, comfortable and cozy. Bas is a friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommended for a weekend in Leeuwarden!

A really nice house with good basic amenities and a top modern bathroom! Geertje is very friendly and responds in the shortest time. We felt very comfortable, especially in the great garden. I'm sure we'll be back!

We loved our stay with Mandy! The place was exactly as described. She gave us many local recommendations and was very accommodating and helpful. We loved being in a small secluded town. Short drives to ferry for island visiting and short drive to for restaurants other than the lovely pub in town.

Everything was great! The house is unique, the location wonderful. Moddergat is truly a special place. Having the mudflats right outside the door is great!

A beautiful, modern finished secluded cottage on the waterfront. Super beautiful in nature, you can see deer and hares walking. On the other side, water. Nice for cycling, going to the city. Kitchen has everything, nice shower. Clean rooms with nice beds.

Diana was very friendly and gave us many helpful tips. We liked the apartment very much and it was stylishly furnished. The location captivates with its proximity to the center and the furnishings corresponded completely to the description and had a high standard. We would come back here anytime.

The house is simply great and quiet with its location directly on the canal! You can watch ships all day or get active yourself. We had our bikes with us and took beautiful trips right on the canal. A kayak ride, which is available there, in the direction of Wanswerd is also highly recommended. The house is very clean and well maintained. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Clear recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay in Dronrijp. The house is very comfortable for 8 guests. The kitchen is well equipped. We would have loved to take advantage of the outside terraces, but the weather didn't cooperate. Great location for participating in the Fiets Elfstedentocht.
