Beachfront vacation rentals in Ameland

We stayed with friends for a wonderful weekend in this house. In January, the Ameland dunes are wonderfully quiet. We have lovely hikes in the dunes, a cold morning dip in the sea. And also enjoyed the luxury of a hot sauna, having a drink at the gas fireplace, cooking and eating at a long table and having breakfast overlooking the dunes. In short, a wonderful mini-reak as the start of 2025.

Nice apartment with everything you need. Wonderfully quiet and good beds. You can rent bicycles nearby. Ideal to discover the island.

We had wonderful days on Ameland with our dog. Petra's accommodation was top, with all the comforts and especially the kitchen very cozy! Ideal for hiking with the dog right from the house. And a few minutes walk to the supermarket. Beach easy to reach by car or bike.

We had a great stay at Henk's apartment with our 3 children. Various restaurants, supermarket, mini golf and Klein Vaarwater (swimming pool, bowling, indoor playground), beach are about 10 minutes walk away on foot. The apartment is well equipped. Not incredibly modern. But everything we needed was there. Henk was quick to respond to any questions. A great host. We would definitely recommend it.

We had three beautiful days on Ameland and felt very comfortable in Geertje's apartment. The balcony is wonderful. Everything we needed was there! The location is unique: super close to the beach and nature. Nes is within walking distance. Highly recommended!

The choice is huge when looking for a villa on Ameland. I am so happy to have arrived at Villa Duinhoeve! A beautiful house with all amenities you need. It is a "warm" and cozy house. The bathroom downstairs and upstairs are excellent. It is also nice that the bathroom upstairs has a lovely bath. The beds/mattresses are of good quality. With 8 people it is really very easy to do, the house is so spacious that you really don't get in each other's way. The communication with the host is great! After check-in, a friendly app or everything is to your liking. Also during the stay, everything can and may be requested from the Landlord. On the day of checkout, we even got a message that we didn't have to go before 10 a.m. because the cleaning lady didn't come until the afternoon. Everything is also easily accessible by foot such as; village Nes, Beach, restaurant, supermarket. Stayed here with the family during New Year's Eve. Despite the bad weather, we had very nice days. It is not a punishment to play games in the cozy chalet and ring in the new year. Good to keep warm, very complete kitchen and a nice bathroom. also the beds are fine!

The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and especially the proximity to the beach has made it the perfect accommodation for a relaxing holiday on Ameland! The toilets are easy to reach and also in the city you are in a relaxed 8 minutes by bike. The other campsite visitors can be well hidden by the privacy screen. We were also very lucky with the weather, which makes the tent quite warm during the day, but the area in front and the beach all the more beautiful!

What a very beautiful, nice, spacious, comfortable and lovely house! Really everything you need is there, including nice bikes to explore the island with. The house is quiet and nicely located and close to the beach. Jurjen was very friendly and super flexible. We would love to come back and highly recommend this house!
