Great place. Even nicer than the pictures. The living room was very cosy and equipped with everything you want. We enjoyed the fire, the kids enjoyed the trampoline outside and the house overall is just very well done with all details thought of and with a high quality finish. The location is close to Hollum and the beach. We would stay again!

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

The place is in a great location and offers a silence that is like no other. Really excellent for a secluded getaway! We had booked the accommodation spontaneously for one night, as our actual accommodation was overbooked. The owners responded incredibly quickly after we were able to contact them through the neighbors. Without their intervention, we wouldn't have known where to find a place to stay that night. So we had a nice family vacation. Thank you and best regards!

We had a wonderful week on Ameland and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on a Wadden Island very much. The house was furnished and equipped with every comfort. Ballum is a beautiful and quiet place with nice restaurants and a neighborhood supermarket. Nice place to discover the whole island by bike.

The accommodation is incredibly charming and rustic – perfect for a relaxing vacation with a larger group. The house was very clean, lovingly decorated and offers a great place to linger and sit together with its beautiful garden. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and easy to reach, so we felt well taken care of. A small note: Upon our arrival, a neighbor unfortunately showed herself a little annoyed by our presence and spoke to us about the noise – although it was only normal conversations of twelve people at dinner on Friday afternoon in the garden. This did not negatively affect our stay, but should be considered when planning. Overall, we were more than satisfied and would book the accommodation again at any time!

Easy and peaceful! Definitely would rent again!

We stayed in the house with 14 people for three nights and felt completely comfortable. The house was very clean, well equipped and quietly located right on the water – perfect for relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a good train connection to Groningen (about 35 minutes' drive). Ideal for groups and highly recommended! In addition, very friendly and helpful hosts who live in the house next door 👍

Nice church, very nice place to have our annual weekend. Plenty of cutlery, plates and pans available, which is always extra nice. Especially if you are with a large group. Recommended!

We were received in a very friendly manner by Jeroen and he gave us some interesting information about the renovation of the church. After that, he took extensive time to show us all the functions in the kitchen / sauna, etc. We had a wonderful stay at the church. It was very clean, well maintained and nothing was missing in amenities.

This was a great place for us -- we stayed here with some family, 5 adults in total. The location is ideal (short walk to beach, short bike ride to town, close to bike trails to all of the island). We loved the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. It's pricey, but worth it if you can afford it.

We were traveling with two families (4 adults and 3 children). The house has enough space. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and personal. We had a small issue and got an answer right after contacting them and resolved it. The furnishings of the house are simple and without much decoration/coziness but sufficient. The kitchen, in turn, was well equipped (toaster, gas stove, good microwave, pots of various sizes). Children's equipment (stair gate at the top, high chair and crib) are available and sun loungers were brought to us. The garden is huge and offers plenty of space for the children to play. Location is quiet in the middle of a holiday park. The pool was still empty at the end of April/beginning of May. Although the weather was only warm during the day, the house has heated up a lot and it is very bright. We had a good time and can recommend the stay!

A wonderful stay. Recommended! There is light, space, super clean, nice spacious garden, very fully equipped. Spacious enough for 6 adults, good beds. Excellent location, located in a well-maintained park, feels private. Good location for cycling and excursions. We felt at home and at ease.
