Village house in Charente with pool

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful family stay at the old gendarmerie. Matthew and Martin are very responsive and pleasant hosts. We found the place even better than the photo! Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, the common areas are large, comfortable and perfectly equipped. We didn't miss a thing. Favorite for the veranda, the outside and the game room! In short, everything was perfect, I recommend this listing and its hosts 100%!!
A serene garden landscape features a well-maintained lawn surrounded by a variety of trees, including deciduous trees with sparse leaves. The area includes a circular stone fire pit, providing a focal point amidst the greenery.

Beautiful Charentaise house

BramRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful holiday. The gite is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, and more. Genevieve is a warm and very helpful person. You have complete privacy, but she is always there to help if needed! We have rented many Airbnbs in the past, and this has definitely been one of the best experiences so far. If you are looking for peace, privacy, and a very well-equipped gite, don’t hesitate to boo this one. In our opinion, you won’t regret it! Thank you, Genevieve, and a hug from us for Swann 😀

La Petite Grange

We particularly wanted a property with a pool and, though others in the area also had pools, theirs were only available in high season. We've just had temperatures of 26 / 27 in April and it was great that Ann"s had a pool that was open for us to use. The house has plenty of outdoor space and different types of outdoor seating - perfect for relaxing outdoors. We've stayed at lots of gites in France; having a house with a washing machine or dishwasher is great. Ann's has both. We've also stayed at properties where we've had to buy our own cleaning products / bin bags etc but Ann's has loads of this type of thing supplied which is extrememy useful. Good TV channels available on both TV and Freesat for the evenings 'at home'. The property is a short drive from the very pretty town of Confolens which has shops and also large supermarkets for selfcatering needs. Also has a variety of places to eat. There are also some excellent restaurants in small villages close to the property.

Bucolic cottage in the heart of nature.

VanessaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent the weekend of Pentecost in this pretty little accommodation, 3 nights in peace, evenings in the quiet of the large park with its picnic tables with birds and the frogs singing. Small cocoon full of charm, with all the essentials to stay a few days. Very nice welcome from Lucas and Charlotte and Locky 🐕

Spacious 1 bed cottage in SW France. Private pool

DawnRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Debbie’s gîte is amazing! The gîte is huge - large living, dining and kitchen area with a fabulous mezzanine bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Everything you could want was provided. Loved our stay but unfortunately the weather was so awful we were unable to use the pool. The upside of that is we used the wood burner which was amazingly warm and made the gîte even more homely. Debbie and Steve were great hosts too - highly recommend!
A stone bridge spans a calm river, leading toward a village. The landscape is marked by a partially ruined castle on a hilltop, with buildings visible along the riverbank. The scene captures a peaceful day under a clear blue sky.

"The Cheese wedge house" - maison de campagne

Anne-LaureRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Clean accommodation, very well equipped, with lots of comfort, in a charming little village. The car allows you to visit all the sights in the area. The accommodation is in the immediate vicinity of the road that crosses the village, but it is not disturbing, even during the festival period in Confolens. Email contact with Erica was very good, responsive host, especially as we booked last minute. Recommended rental!
