Recently got the opportunity to stay at this beautiful place! Me and my partner enjoyed every moment of it, it so peaceful & home like, cozy & warm! The cottage itself was so clean! It was absolutely spotless which is lovely. We really enjoyed the hot tub, it’s so peaceful at night time! The area around the hot tub was lovely if you’re looking for a getaway in the summer, they have a bbq & outdoor chairs & it’s very private! The local pub, just a two minute walk away from the cottage has amazing food & the staff are very friendly. We don’t have any negative reviews! 🙂 Thank you so much for letting us stay, we will definitely be recommending this to friends & family! & we’ll definitely be coming again in the summer for sure! 🙂

Wow! Our group of 9 ladies have had the most amazing weekend at this lovely property. We loved the warm welcome from the hosts & very much appreciated the goodies left out for us & helpful instructions. We were lucky to have beautiful sunshine, enabling us to make the most of the wonderful garden. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and making s’mores in the hobbit hut, as well as yoga on the lawn & watercolour painting under the apple tree - a truly blissful girls’ weekend! The bunnies & Welly the pig were gorgeous! The house was clean & there was plenty of room for the 9 of us, we barely used the lounge and dining room! We also hired the games barn & it was like having our own little pub & a great evening’s entertainment. We would have loved to have stayed longer & tried out the pizza oven. We enjoyed a long walk including the spooky railway tunnel & a great meal over the road at the pub. We couldn’t have asked for more and would love to return! Thank you Hannah & Noel :)

Fantastic place to stay. Clean, well equipped and very nice interior. Great for family/couples and (well behaved) contractors. Would certainly stay again.

Lovely house and location, was ideal for all ages in the party. Amenities were very good and enjoyed using the hot tub. Slight problem finding the house when following the satnav but was able to contact the host quickly who gave perfect directions. would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We had a lovely stay and left feeling so relaxed and chilled out. The surroundings were not only beautiful but tranquil. The location between Stamford and Market Deeping perfect with great places to eat, we had a lovely time wandering around Stamford. The property itself was stunning and very well equipped, everything was thought of and you could easily spend weeks here and have all you needed for day to day living. Everything was sparkly clean and tidy, no clutter. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding of a high quality. We felt so at home and relaxed here. I honestly cannot find anything to say could be improved upon, we loved it and will most definitely be back.

We had an amazing time in a beautiful place. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone trying to get away from the busy world.

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

We loved our stay at the old forge. It had everything you could need inside and the garden was lovely. There are also plenty of great walks nearby which our dogs loved too including the nature reserve.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice touch to get a short welcome from Joseph at the start. A cottage with lots of character in a super-tranquil location. Everything was 'just right' and thoughtfully presented. I especially enjoyed watching nature from the small conservatory in the early mornings with a coffee. If you want peace and quiet (which I did!) this is for you! I'll be back at some point.

We had a fantastic stay at Hunky Dory Cottage! Stunning cottage, in a lovely location! Stephen and Jane were so responsive and had great communication! Would highly recommend!!

We loved staying at The Old Dairy for our mini moon with our dog. The weather was glorious (slightly too hot!) and it made the surroundings even more beautiful! The outside area was perfect to relax in and we used the BBQ a few times. It was lovely knowing our dog was completely safe and secure and he loved playing in the garden. The walk to the local pub was easy and took around 20mins, it was friendly with a great selection of drinks. We did the park & ride based on Mitzi’s recommendation to get into Cambridge which was very simple and quick. The recommendations left for us were really helpful. The place had everything we needed and the pictures don’t do it justice, we would love to visit again and explore more of the local walks in cooler weather. It was exactly what we needed to relax.

This was a lovely relaxing place to spend some time. We loved the pool area. The pool was warm and the floating beanbag was great! Daniel was very welcoming. Would recommend.

Sharon is a superb, friendly and helpful host. The apartment is very comfortable, well appointed, and with everything we needed and is ideally located for travel into Cambridge, Ely and surrounding countryide. We had an excellent short break of 4 nights and it was an added bonus to be able to relax in the lovely, peaceful garden and chat with Sharon's delightful family. My partner Bridget and I agreed it was the best AIRBNB we have stayed in and, if we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Thank you, Sharon.

Close to Cambridge but still very quiet with a beautiful garden and walks that start near the cottage. A perfect location if you are travelling with children or pets.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The home was immaculate, situated in lovely countryside but within easy touching distance of Peterborough thanks to nearby A47 and surrounding towns and just off the A1. Kathryn wasn’t on site for our stay due to family commitments but made us feel so welcome in her friendly communications and prepared everything really well despite our very late booking. Also was able to help with a late checkout to assist us. Nothing else to say except highly recommended and thank you - a real gem on AirBnB and nothing to fault.

We were in town to visit family and absolutely loved staying here. It’s smartly designed and beautifully cared for. Simon and Caroline were very easy and quick to communicate with, and were attentive hosts. We plan to stay again the next time we visit family.

great accommodation, quiet retreat in easy walking distance of the town centre

The Acorn was a wonderful place to stay. Wildlife nearby with many lovely nature walks. But shops were also nearly which was convenient. The Acorn is a fabulous little cottage with all that you need - Lionel and Helen were the best hosts always attentive. After leaving I forgot the firestick remote and they sent it back the next day! We will definitely come again.

Hazelnut Cottage is a lovely place to stay in the historic village of Ashton. It is quiet and cozy and just steps from the local pub with great food. The resident peacocks and -hens are entertaining. Liz is a great host and we would definitely chose to stay here again.

Fabulous stay, we were sent really comprehensive information about how to get there shared by email then text on the day we arrived , along with information on how to use the various bits of kitchen equipment. Bottle of prosecco, along with their own eggs and some milk, tea coffee oil vinegar and crisps! to get us going. Place was beautfiully furnished- beds very comfortable with high quality bedding which does make a difference. Stamford is very close and delightful with shops eateries etc and 10-15 mins from Rutland Water. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic stay. The house is perfect and was a great base for our stay in Oundle. Super cosy and nicely appointed. It’s a few minutes walk from our favorite Chip shop and parking is just round the corner at the CoOp. Gareth the owner/host was great. Good comms and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Highly recommend. We have already booked our next stay.
