Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alvin

Where to start with this wonderful home. Unlike other Air BNB’s this location actually feels like a home and the host feels like an actual person and is quick to respond to any inquiry we had. A huge plus for us is EVERY amenity that was listed actually worked! Massage chair works, all the TVs worked, all the recliners in the theater room worked, the front door worked! For those of you that are new to Air BNB’s (or have done this before) a lot of times what is listed does not always work or is not always there. The neighborhood that we were in was nice and quiet. Food and shopping is fairly close at this location and there’s a nice park for families to go to. Yolanda and her home is beyond 5 stars!!! Mahalo nui loa❣️

Jamison was a wonderful host! I booked their Airbnb for my wedding weekend. Jamison was kind enough to add some personal touches around the house, which made the weekend even more special. The location was perfect as well. Only a 5 min drive from our wedding venue and a very short drive to Rosewater for some craft cocktails to end the night with family and friends. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Clear Lake!

We really enjoyed our stay and were sad it was so brief. This was a great home base for the space center, Meow Wolf and a little beach time. Plenty of room for our group of adults and teens! Would absolutely stay again.

The house was very clean and the surroundings where beautiful! It was very peaceful and the house has everything you could need. We enjoyed the ping pong table. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

Really nice house, close location to nrg if you're in town for a show or game. Easy check in and check out.

Daniel and Virginia were simply amazing on keeping us updated with severe weather, replacing the grill for us, and genuinely being the best hosts we could've had. We had a family of 10 stay at this waterfront property, so we definitely needed all the space we could get - this was PERFECT! We loved having the bay/dock right in the front of the property so we could fish whenever we wanted without worrying about infringing on anyone else's space or having to lug around all our fishing gear. The inside couldn't have been more perfect for our needs. The lofted area had 5 twin beds with another collapsible cot available if needed, plenty of linens and pillows for everyone, and was very well circulated in the air conditioning. The living room/kitchen setup was awesome for having 6 kids stay there. We could cook or grill while the kids played board games or fished out on the dock, and nobody ever felt like there wasn't enough space. We definitely plan to come back in the future!

Ms.Cynthia was very responsive,and she gave very clear instructions on how to use everything in the space and also how to find the apartment as well. The space was very clean and very comfortable.

Cozy, clean apartment close to NRG stadium and the Texas Medical Center. Joyner (host) was professional and very responsive.

Xiomara's house was very comfortable and peaceful. The back patio was just enough to wind down and relax for the evening. The home was very spacious and the bed were comfortable. The house was very clean! The host were very responsive and gave clear instructions on how to get in and what we can do in case of an emergency. Overall, very good stay!

Great stay! Gabriel was really polite and responsive! It smelled clean and look nice! Clean pool and hot tub! Only thing I would say is the tv was kind of small but I also didn’t have my glasses so yea lol, but I would definitely stay again! Thanks again for an awesome stay!

Johnny was a great help. He responded very quickly. I run into a little trouble & Johnny was able to help me fix it. I see why he a “super host”

I’ve enjoyed each stay at this lovely house, and will definitely be returning in the future! A short walk to the best area of the seawall beach and short drive to all the attractions makes for a peaceful perfect stay.

This place was the perfect location for our needs. Very close to grocery, farmers market, the Paradour, (where the wedding was being held that we attended), etc. Svetlana was so helpful and kind. She was quick to respond to our questions and very hospitable.

Nyesha's place was cozy and comfortable. Most comfortable bed we've slept in! We were only a 10 min drive from Medical and museum district where there were lots of restaurants and a beautiful park to enjoy. Nyesha was super helpful and checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything. She gave us good recommendations for restaurants as well! Her place was spotless and entry instructions were easy to follow!! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Houston! Great experience and host!!

This place is awesome, there was a foosball table that the older kids enjoyed. The house is on a lake that is beautiful and a kayak to enjoy. I had 4 teens with me that lived every minute of it, they swam in the lake and also fished. There is a great backyard with a fire pit that we used for roasting marshmallows and a bbq pot as well. It is also about 30 minutes from the beach so that is great as well. I could go on and on about this house, we had a great time!

Shonario was a great host! He checked on us everyday and made sure we were comfortable. The house is very conveniently located to visit the Space Center, Galveston, Moody Gardens and Kemah Boardwalk. We enjoyed the stay and kids enjoyed the board games.

We absolutely loved this home. The pool is definitely great! I do think that everything was described just right. The neighborhood is beautiful! I would have loved to spend more time here, but the 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights that we did stay! Jose was very quick to communicate and respond. If or when we had an issue, he was right on it. You will love this place!
