Vacation rentals with lake access in Alvin

We had a wonderful time! The bay view was beautiful and the house was perfectly clean and comfortable. We have 9 in our family including adult children’s spouses and the space was perfect.

Where to start with this wonderful home. Unlike other Air BNB’s this location actually feels like a home and the host feels like an actual person and is quick to respond to any inquiry we had. A huge plus for us is EVERY amenity that was listed actually worked! Massage chair works, all the TVs worked, all the recliners in the theater room worked, the front door worked! For those of you that are new to Air BNB’s (or have done this before) a lot of times what is listed does not always work or is not always there. The neighborhood that we were in was nice and quiet. Food and shopping is fairly close at this location and there’s a nice park for families to go to. Yolanda and her home is beyond 5 stars!!! Mahalo nui loa❣️

Nhu was very friendly and responsive and accommodating to our needs. Due to unforeseen circumstances, and no fault of their own , the place could not be cleaned before 4 PM, our scheduled arrival/checkin time, which delayed our settling down by a bit, but Nhu was very quick to respond and fix the problem by offering a late departure to make up for the time. So it worked out after all. The place was very clean, spacious and is located in a lovely peaceful environment. We would come back to this Airbnb again.

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to get away, look no further! When we stumbled upon this home, we immediately fell in love. I have to say, it is quite lovelier in real life than it is online. The house is so beautifully decorated and has every amenity, including a charming terrace for morning coffee or a quiet patio for evening barbecues. Just a short drive to the beach yet quiet and relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay! Ashley is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and responsive host. We didn’t want to leave— and we can’t wait to come back!

This was such a great place to stay, very clean, organized, felt right at home! The house is absolutely stunning, the master bathroom is so dreamy and relaxing, kitchen had everything you would need. The backyard was so relaxing and peaceful and very well maintained. The neighborhood was very peaceful and safe. We would be more than happy to stay here again. The host were both SO friendly and communicated with us with any questions we may have. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and will be definitely coming back again!

What I loved: The neighborhood was beautiful and felt safe The outside of the home was lovely and maintained. Kemah Boardwalk was a few minutes away by car, along with the fish markets, and a small private beach was about a 5ish minute drive. Beach was quaint, had a shower/rinse off area and was kept up. The bed was super comfortable (upstairs main) The layout of the house was awesome. My mother can’t walk up stairs well and she stayed in a HUGE room on the first floor. She loved it! The pool was GREAT and had a nice water feature! And volleyball net. Plenty of beach towels Easy instructions to get in and due to an early flight we got in about an hour earlier which was nice. Shampoo/Conditioner/body wash in the shower for use. What I didn’t love: The random hand written signs and rules posted throughout the house. one of the layout pool chairs was ripped so you couldn’t sit in it(1 of 2) It could use new ones. The dresser drawers upstairs would not stay closed. Overall, 5 stars! :)

The apartment was very nicely laid out and tastefully furnished. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only downside was that it was on the third floor with no elevator. 38 steps to get to our unit. Being in our 70s it gave us more exercise than we wanted. This was our fault for not reading all the details of the listing thoroughly before booking. Overall we had a nice time.

What a beautiful space! I absolutely loved the view of the waves crashing on the shore. The swimming pool was the highlight of our trip. Kitchen was adequately stocked and easy to prepare meals in. The condo is recently renovated with new furniture and appliances. Plenty of space for two couples and our kids. Thank you Donna for a wonderful stay! 10/10 would definitely here stay again.

Tracy’s place was everything I hoped it would be. Very peaceful . very clean and welcoming. Whatever you may need in the kitchen, it’s there. We spent a lot of our time sitting out on the balcony watching the fish jump out and the birds flying by. Perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading and evening night cap. Great location for visiting family. Only 10 minutes away, if that. Next visit, we will stay there again. We found our home away from home. Tracy is friendly and quick to respond . She is an excellent host!

This was an extremely clean, elegant apartment that my 5 year old daughter’s first words upon entering were: “oh wow daddy, this is beautiful!”. Everything was spotless clean, very thoughtfully decorated and convenient supplies were plentiful. It’s located on the western outer belt of Houston. Really close to plenty of restaurants (do not skip Poblanos!) stores and most importantly the highway (i-10 Katy Fwy) which can take you directly to downtown. Parking is available and the instructions to get in were spot on. However the main highlight of this listing was not the apartment itself, but the host. Diana was an extremely helpful, cordial and responsive host. I did not have the pleasure to meet her but my mother did as she quickly took care of an internet issue we encountered. Hosts like Diana are part of the reason I’d rather book an airbnb vs a Hotel; they make all the difference. Definitely give this place a shot and come back to thank me later.

One of the best experiences I’ve had on the app I would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a ver clean, respectful, relaxing, practice, responsive host , and just overall great experience.

I love this home away from home. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was wonderful. Paul is very respectful and doesn't bother you at home. He had a small puzzle collections, which I loved! I also added a few to his collections. I would highly recommend his place he has everything you need and more. Very quiet and private.

Rachel was an incredibly responsive and kind host! One of the nights we got too cold and she had blankets sent that night to improve our experience. Great host! The apartment has a smart tv and full kitchen which improved our experience there a lot.

Great place to stay!! Super close to our family we came down to see & a GREAT value!! There was quite a bit of construction going on when we stayed, but it was manageable and totally out of the hosts control, we made it work⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️!! We will most definitely be staying in the future!!
