We had a perfect stay at Romesha's place! She is super communicative and made us feel at home. Her place is just like the photos. It was clean and homey, and right across the street from the beach. The location was great for us as well, since we were mid-way between Galle and Ahangama, and had access to great places on either side of us. Overall, we definitely recommend staying at Romesha's!

We had a truly beautiful and relaxing stay. Kavinda our host went above and beyond for us, and the chef’s cooking was absolutely perfect—they even shopped for all the ingredients! The villa’s rustic charm made it feel extra special. Though the beach hut had some weather damage, Buddika let us know in advance and kindly offered a BBQ, which was such a thoughtful touch. Sadly, we were involved in a serious accident on our way to the airport, but even from abroad, Buddika supported us incredibly—liaising with Etihad and sending her husband to visit us. Despite the unfortunate end, our stay was truly wonderful, and we highly recommend it.

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

We had a great time staying at Fahim’s place. We settled in comfortably and Fahim was very foregoing when meeting us, and later the overall hospitality and friendliness was 10/10 . The apparent is superb and answered all our requirements. the area is very peaceful and countryside-like. The apartment is directly opposite the mosque but the late prayers during Ramadan didn’t bother us , plus Fahim generously compensated us for potential disturbances. The beach and restaurants/cafes are at walkable distance. Overall one of the best Airbnb experience we ever had. ❤️❤️❤️

His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. The apartment is fantastic, always clean and located in a convenient area for any interest. I highly recommend staying with him so an unique experience !

Lovely hosts who were helpful throughout & greeted us, showing us around the property! Such a huge space with lots of useful amenities :) A very beautiful villa inside and outside in the private garden.. Was great that 3 of the bedrooms had A/C & the kitchen was fully equipped. Surrounding area was great and there was lots of points of interest within walking distance. Once again such lovely hosts and we will look forward to staying again as we felt right at home! Mister Dominique a été un hôte exemplaire du début à la fin de ce séjour. Nous sommes arrivés plus tard que prévu à cause de problèmes à l'aeroport et les agents de sévurité étaient présent pour nous accueillir avec une noix de coco fraîchement ceuillit. Tous les matins nous avons eu droit a un magnifique petit déjeuner cuisiné par des dames très gentilles et tellement adorables. On a pu organisé une excursion au safari de Yala grâce à leur conseils. En effet, une société privée propose plusieurs excursions par jours que vous pouvez choisir à votre convenance et qui viendra vous récupérer au seuil de votre porte. La villa donne sur une vue magnifique sur la plage privée ou vous pourrez observer un superbe couché de soleil, vous détendre sur des transats et hamac mais aussi savourer de délicieux cocktails un peu plus loins sur la plage. En effet, plusieurs bars sont présents à proximité. 10min de Galle et 25min d'Unawatuna en tuktuk. En bref, je recommande fortement et hâte d'y revenir.

The villa is just amazing! And so is the front/back yard. You get into the house, and it just fees right. The place is very clean, everything is literally new. A manager welcomed us. He was super friendly and spoke to the point. And after that nobody bothered us. Nobody came to check on us. We just asked how to take out the trash and did it on our own. This is what privacy is all about. The internet speed is 150+ Mbps which is really enough. Thanveer hooked me up with a local bike rental company, and they provided us with a few cool bikes for a reasonable price. Any question? The response would always be prompt and on point. This place is one of those rare cases when the actual reality exceeds your expectations! My family is super grateful for such a warm stay as we happened to be the very first guests!

Förvänta dig inte lyx. Detta boende är basic men samtidigt väldigt charmigt. 10 meter till stranden. De dagarna vi bodde här kunde man inte simma i havet pga stora vågor. Närhet till Hikkaduwa center och se på sköldpaddor. Boendet ordande med bbq grill (fisk) på stranden vilket uppskattades mycket!

The room was just what we expected. Indeed there is music from 9am until 11pm that you can hear in the room, but that didn‘t bother us much. The room itself was really clean and comfy. The Café is directly next to the beach so you can relax on the water and hear the waves in the night. The staff was extremly friendly and made our stay perfect. If we travel to Galle again, we would definitely choose this room away from the crowded city for a pleasant stay :) P.S.: it‘s really nice that you can refill glas bottles with drinking water here, so you don‘t have to buy plastic bottles
