Easy, comfy, cute, and very walkable. I liked the touch of the work desk in the hallway.

Dani’s house was the best Airbnb experience in ten years! This little two bedroom casita had everything from an exceptional kitchen with quality knives, appliances and essential ingredients for cooking to great beds with good linens. The shared bath between the two bedrooms was spick and span and modernized. At 105 years old, it’s clear this family home has been well loved. Dani was quick to respond and her extended family still in the area stood ready to help as needed…but weren’t needed! Great porch and wonderful, LARGE fenced yard for our two pooches! I wish all Airbnb’s were this nice!

The house was so centrally located and had everything we needed! Eric was so communicative and we had the best girls trip!

Terry's home is the most beautiful and relaxing bnb we have ever had the honor to stay in! Everything was absolutely perfect and well thought out, it is very apparent a chef stocked the kitchen with every imaginable amenity you would need! The creativity and the artistic touch to the home is absolutely breathtaking, inside and out. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable and we really enjoyed opening the screened-in door in the bedroom at night to enjoy the dessert breezes and sounds, he even supplies earplugs by the beds for those of who don't love and appreciate the occasional train that passes by(we loved the sound!). Not only is the history and the architecture of the home inspiring, the endless book selection kept me entertained for hours! We enjoyed watching a dust storm and then a hail storm from the upstairs bedroom windows and then later playing cards and dominos at the huge wooden dining room table. The lighting throughout the entire home is awesome!

We were in love with Daphne's place from the moment we stepped inside. Just gorgeous, well-appointed, and the views of the stars were like nothing we've ever experienced. Daphne was also super responsive when we had a question at check-in. Our only regret: not booking a longer stay. In short, we'll absolutely be back and cannot recommend Daphne's place enough. Don't think about it—just book it. Such a sweet home!

I loved the location of this home. It stayed cool during the 100 degree heat, but the place is old and the water pressure was low. We still think it was a great deal for everything we got.

This house was very nice inside and out. The kids loved playing in the back. Loved how it was decorated. We needed extra sheets and the hosts came quickly. Everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again!

Casa Wilma might very well be my absolute favorite AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. Hell, it might be my favorite place on earth. I’ve spent a lot of time traveling in and around west Texas and Wilma’s place makes hanging out in the desert comfortable, stylish, and so relaxing. The fenced property was perfect for my two city dogs who don’t get to run around off-leash as often as they’d like. The garage doors in the living room and bedroom let them come and go as they pleased while we laid in the hammocks and read. The stock tank bathtub in the master bedroom was gorgeous and the ability to open the back door and feel like you’re outside among the cactus was so dreamy. Finally, waking up so close to the massive bedroom window made for a perfect way to watch the sunrise. I absolutely cannot wait to come back and spend some serious time here. Wilma and Tom, thanks so much for this treasure!

This home was as described and beautiful. The only complaint I have was because of my own oversight. We brought our dogs and kids and I didn't pay attention to the beautiful landscaping in the pictures...all cactus. Not a huge deal, just had to be a little more cognizant. There was a small ant problem because one of the kids left a drop of dinner next to the stove after cleanup. When I noticed in the morning, I cleaned up the food and kitchen towel and they never showed again. They do warn about goat head stickers in the yard. If you're bringing pets, make sure you pay attention, ours picked up a couple, but we knew ahead of time and it's not a real issue. There is a lot of room and the place is beautiful and welcoming.

I really enjoyed staying here. This was a great base camp in between events for Agave Marfa. I don’t think I’d change anything about it! The AC worked great. I mostly went out to eat but the full size kitchen would have been perfectly sufficient. The beds were comfortable. The cowboy pool is a nice break in the TX sun. The ideal group would be 3-4 people but 5 is possible.

This place is AMAZING! Just outside of Alpine and the stargazing is superb. Will is a fantastic host and was very flexible and responsive. They graciously allow dogs which was a huge bonus for us, PLUS a fenced in backyard! The property is beautiful and we had plenty of privacy. The home itself was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed! I plan on staying here again in the future, thank you so much Will!!

Great place to stay in Marfa! Close to everything and walkable. The place was beautiful and decorated great- very comfortable space! Only thing to note is the WiFi is extremely spotty, which the hosts mentions, but if you are looking for good WiFi this might not be the place for you. That being said, its great to disconnect for a bit!

we were a big crew from airbnb (55 of us in the area) and had the most magical experience. blown away by the art, food, shops, sips and overall energy of the town. this particular property was ideal for the way the space was laid out and the proximity to town! the pool was key! Highly recommend.

This is a great cozy country style cottage, super clean, quiet, and very well located to stay in Alpine. Everything that you need to feel at home. kara and her husband are very responsive, and they offer a good recommendation of where to eat, things to do, and where to go. It's a really good option to stay.

Had an amazing stay at Stephan & Ethers’ place!!! Walking distance to downtown Marfa, so morning walks were amazing. The nice open walls were also perfect for a projector to watch movies with the starry night in the windows above! If you’re a Donald Judd fan, you will definitely love the “minimalist” style of the place.

This was the perfect place for our group to stay for our daughter's college graduation. Chris was amazing throughout the entire trip. The check-in and check-out of the cottage are the best Airbnb check-ins/check-outs we've had. He is quick to respond to messages and super helpful. He wants every guest to feel at home and have the best experience--and we did. He was wonderful to work with. The house is two stories- one bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, and it was a great way for everyone to spread out. It was the perfect weekend with family and friends. We look forward to staying at one of his properties in the future!

great location, beautiful views. Well organized set up. One room is outside the main house in a smaller unit.

The Trans Pecos team went above and beyond. Answered all questions leading up to our stay. Was responsive during stay. Have great local recommendations. The space itself is stunning. The skylights brought in beautiful daylight. Space was minimal and well appointed. Felt very private, yet only a few blocks from downtown strip. Walkability is as an added bonus. Close to restaurants, Chinati, etc. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting West Texas.

Simone was fantastic and we had a great time in one the best places in TX. Gracious and welcoming even when we had a plan change. The home is a quiet great spot and was very comfortable for our Big Bend trip. Marfa is also amazing!

We used Irma's tiny home in Marfa as a stop for when we went on to travel to Big Bend National Park, which was as extraordinary and stunning a place as it was remote. In the home, specifically, we enjoyed the fire pit, the gas grill, and the local grocery store The Get Go.
