In the old pig barn, we have created 5 new, unique, energy-neutral cottages. Each cottage has its own private terrace, but around the greenhouse in the colorful garden, there are plenty of seating areas, both in the sun and out of the sun. De Oost is a 30-minute drive from major cities in the Randstad area. North Sea 25 km away, Schiphol 20 km away The Zegersloot recreation area, with a golf course and a recreational lake, is 1 km (0.6 miles) away.

Farm De Oost is located in the center of the Groene Hart. Where we built this beautiful loft with a lot of passion. The green garden and colorful greenhouse give a sense of peace. In the greenhouse, there are various seating areas with a wood-burning stove. Outside, a private terrace with many places to sit in or out of the sun. Quiet Space and Activities Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this old farmhouse. Where we have rebuilt an old pig barn with a lot of care/love. There are 5 beautiful Loft cottages in it. All cottage have a private terrace in addition to the yard and around the grow greenhouse many seats in or out of the sun. In the greenhouse is a wood stove. Through the greenhouse you come to a deck above the water with a view of the polder. An ideal place between the major cities and the North Sea all a 30-minute drive away.

Our monumental farmhouse (1876) is close to the beautiful city of Leiden (10 minutes by car). Also close to Amsterdam (30 minutes), Schiphol AirPort (20/25 minutes), the Hague (20 minutes). The beautiful beaches of Katwijk and Noordwijk are only half an hour away. For people who love the outdoors; there are many cycling possibilities close by. For those who love the combination of visiting the city and a rural environment, our cosy guesthouse with beautiful views to the fields is the place to be

A nice chalet in the heart of Holland.

A beautifully newly built chalet (2018) by the water, centrally located in the heart of Holland with cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam (Eurovision 2020-Ahoy), Gouda and The Hague just a 30-min. drive. Zandvoort, 47 km. The chalet has underfloor heating and an attractive pallet stove and has 58 m2 of space. Layout: living room with kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with bunk bed, separate toilet, bathroom with shower & sink and separate room with washing machine and dryer.

Chestnut Lodge - renovated home in nature

Relax and unwind in this newly rebuilt Lodge, modern and stylishly decorated, but with rustic wooden details. Luxuriously furnished and equipped with every comfort. The Lodge is located next to the farmhouse in a rural area, but centrally located in the country, 30 minutes away from all major cities, Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht and the Keukenhof with the beach. Please note that our home is only rented to guests over 35 years of age and children over 5 years of age.

Yurt - Groene Hart

In the beautiful polders of the Groene Hart, you will find our magical place: an oasis for peace seekers and a place to slow down. Natural materials have been used as much as possible for the yurt and the interior. The yurt is 35m2 and equipped with every comfort. Outside is an intimate place where you can sit and make a fire. You enjoy the free-range chickens and everything that grows and flowers. You sleep under the starry sky and you are awakened by the sounds of birds.

Go for a walk or a bike ride in the Groene Hart and discover the many Dutch windmills and cheese farms in the polder. For a real wellness experience, you can use our hot tub for a fee (€85 - 3 nights).
