Lovely property right by the ocean with 2 independent studios; #3 is on the ground floor; bedding in the bedroom can be either a king size bed or 2 single beds, so please let us know in advance what you’d prefer; the bedroom has A/C, a safe and en-suite bathroom; the unit has a kitchenette and a patio with a fantastic view of the ocean. Silver Sands Is not a central area, renting a car would be a good idea.

This was our second consecutive Christmas at Christys place and it didn’t disappoint! Great size, location and has everything you need. The pool is a great size, the wildlife is stunning and the rooms are a great size. Miami Beach is within a 20 min walk, surfing is 10min walk and Oistens is just 25 min walk away. Christy was very accommodating with our check out times which was a great help and meant we were able to enjoy a full last day at Miami Beach

Had a great stay at Tranquility. Sheldon and his son Shemar were very hospitable and quick on their responses and accommodated an early check in and later check out. House had central air which was very comfortable. One very small issue I had is that the kitchen was not well stocked but they were very receptive to take some suggestions into account. Also a shaded outdoor space with comfy furniture would be a welcomed feature for this otherwise perfect place to call home on your vacation. Close to the best beach around (7 min walk), the fish fry and grocery store etc. I would highly recommend this place to stay especially if shaded outdoor space is provided.

I stayed with seven of my students and my colleague and it was perfect. We loved walking to the reef to do marine biology, going on the roof to star gaze and do math lessons, and the pool for the kids to unwind. I loved that the doors locked automatically so I didn’t have to worry about the kids each needing a key or forgetting to lock the doors. There was an area for us to gather as a group and the kitchen was large so more than one person could cook. Highly recommended

Gorgeous place! The view is perfection. The breeze comes straight off the ocean toward the villa and is the freshest air you will ever breathe. Ask the friendly gardener to bring you fresh coconuts for the best coconut water you will ever taste. I feel so rejuvenated after my stay that I plan to return in the next year. Tip: Go to Hunte’s Garden! The landowner turned a collapsed cave into a an enormous sunken garden. The incredibly tall palms provide ample cooling shade so you can enjoy the masses of tropical plants that create this colorful masterpiece. Paths wind down into the bowl and curve throughout. There are lots of private spots turned off the walkways for one or two people to sit and enjoy the incredible views without other guests walking directly in front of you.

Spacious 3BDR home next to Brighton Beach

Richard(Nicholas) and Kathryn were great hosts. Very responsive to our communications. If you are looking for a traditional bajan experience, this could be for you. We were a party of 3 and stayed for 4 nights. This was our first time in Barbados. The property is in a quiet cul de sac, which felt very safe. It is a few minutes walk to the beach - Brandon’s and Brighton. Brandon’s beach has a beach bar and sun loungers. Slightly further up the beach towards Brighton beach you have the Stades rum distillery and bar right on the beach. Both are well worth a visit. We took a 15 minute taxi ride up to Holetown. This was a very different experience. We also walked to see Rihanna drive and Kensington oval. It was a long walk in the heat and many roads don’t have pavements, but definitely doable. There are loads of taxis available but a bit pricey. If you are staying longer you may want to hire a car.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was very clean. The host was kind, attentive, and always available to help, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. The price was affordable, partly due to its location in an authentic area which turned out to be one of the highlights. You really get to experience Bajan culture, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. As two female travelers, we felt safe. Each guest gets a personal door code, and there are security cameras on the property for added peace of mind. Wes and Jewel at Jewel’s Variety (just a minute away) were incredibly kind and helpful. They truly made us feel like family and offer a variety of affordable services—definitely worth connecting with them during your stay. Carlisle Bay is just 10 minutes away by car while Brandon’s is right across the street! I recommend renting a car to get around the island. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an affordable and culturally rich Barbados experience!

Beautiful house moments from the beach!

Everything boils down to the host and first experience. Right from pre-booking questions to check in, Tyrone was there to respond quickly. The property manager Don met us at the property at 1.30am with our flight being delayed. Even at that late hour he drove us to a local 24x7 store to get milk and other essentials. This is service. He was very responsive to any request we had. The house was amazing and if we visit Barbados, this is where we are staying again.
