We are repeat guests at Marcia’s farmhouse and always love our visit. The place is lovely and comfortable, with all possible items that you could need in a home. The kitchen is a dream! Every possible gadget that you can think of. This is by far our favorite Airbnb!! Marcia is an exemplary hostess!

We loved staying here for a weekend getaway. We stayed for a wedding close by and just expected a place to rest but ended up leaving with a true experience. They allowed us to see/pet their horses and we got to learn more about the area. Super nice and responsive throughout our stay.

Our stay was wonderful! The house is beautiful; even better than the pictures show. The scenery is just as beautiful as the inside. It’s doesn’t get any better than seeing mountains, cows, or Christmas trees depending on which window you want to look out of. The house was very clean and organized and made us feel right at home. We could not have loved the area more and would love to return.

Juan & Katherine were the best hosts and we enjoyed our family vacay, I would highly recommend booking and experiencing the great escape in the mountains, you won’t be disappointed!

Very quaint setting. Worked out great for us as we had friends who live just a short distance away. Not sure if I just didn’t figure it out or if it wasn’t available but TV options were very limited. Other than that, it suited our needs very well.

We stayed at The Red River House on the weekend between picking up one daughter from Camp Cheerio and dropping the other daughter off. It looks just like it does in pictures. There is very little overhead lighting, so the coloring in the pictures is accurate, but everything is very clean and comfortable. Our son spent hours upon hours fishing in the river out front. I recommend bringing water shoes or Crocs, as it can be hard to get a grip while walking through the river. Charlie was an excellent host and we used many of her suggestions for local dining and activities. The area is beautiful and serene, and we can't wait to return.

Ann’s place is by far one of the best Airbnb’s that I have stayed at! She has thought of everything for your stay! The home is sooo nice and the area is incredibly beautiful. The sunrise in the morning lights up the fields and trees with this golden hue and in the evenings the top of the mountains look purple. It is sooo quiet and peaceful. Food Lion is only a 15 minute drive and there’s everything you need to cook in terms of pots and pans and numerous spices. The Hot tub is great and is covered so you can use it even if it’s raining. The fireplace makes it so cozy. The art work is gorgeous! It’s the type of place that makes you want to experience it in all 4 seasons! We drove just 15 minutes up the mountain and it was covered with snow! You will love it! there’s a lot more here than what is listed- corn hole, ping pong table, footballs, sleds to name a few. there’s even a coffee grinder and cappuccino maker and a waffle maker and gas grill! The fire pit is great and omgg the stars!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Olde Beau, and Bryan was extremely helpful setting up our vacation and felt all of our needs would be meet. The neighborhood is beautiful and felt secluded among mountain views. We played a few rounds on the well groomed golf course.And enjoyed adventures at the near by Stone Mountain. The area has a lot to offer and explore. Highly recommend for a mountain escape.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Vincent's cabin. It was quiet, peaceful and private. There is a nice bit of grass for the dogs and enough space for your vehicle. The cabin has a great A/C unit, nice bathroom, comfy bed and above all, for me atleast, it has Directv! Thank you for that. Many Airbnb's have no cable whatsoever. I would absolutely stay here again and I highly recommend for anyone who is passing through. Also, there is a truck stop/gas station and a dollar general nearby. And the price is comparable to any half way decent hotel but way more private and secluded and peaceful. No housekeeping waking you up at 7 am!Thank you Vincent!

Claudia is a very responsive and helpful host. Cabin was clean and easily accessible. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived which was very sweet, and cabin was nice and warm. We will definitely be back.

Great stay everyone was very friendly. Great parking towed our motorcycles with trailers and had plenty of room for trucks and trailers also place to park bikes. Was right off blue ridge parkway. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had the misfortune of being caught in a storm but Mary and family went above and beyond to help our family. We are very thankful for their kindness.

This couldn't be more private or peaceful...the grounds are beautiful with trees, flowers, two fountains, so many places to sit and relax and then you have a pool and hot tub. A beautiful area to dine outside with a grill. Our dogs loved exploring the yard. Stefi offers many ideas on places to visit and to eat, which was so helpful. We will definitely book with Stefi again.

Great view! Especially in October. The beds in two of the rooms are a bit small so just plan for it. Nothing nearby so be sure to bring all the food you need. Very clean place, just the expected critters around due to remote area.

The Bucket House was great for our mountain vacation. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated to modern standards and fully stocked. The two second floor bedrooms were great for the cousin sleepover fest, although the stairs to the second floor are narrow. The owner responded quickly to our question while we were there. My daughter especially liked going out to stargaze each evening. The only downside is that the air conditioning unit is on the second floor only. However, by using the ceiling fans and opening the downstairs windows, we were able to cool the bedroom on the first floor in the evening.

A great host with a place to get away and relax. It's close enough to various sites, and it's low-key and relaxing. I enjoyed the fire pit and watching deer run across the fields.

We had a great stay at Margaret's. We were a group of 9, and the house accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen is well-supplied, the living rooms are comfortable, and the decoration is absolutely amazing! Also, Margaret was always responsive and helped us with everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

I can't say it enough, this place was perfect. We came to do some work on our land and also celebrate Thanksgiving. The space was perfect for our family and so many amenities such as games, moves, streaming apps and privileges at Old Beau pool! We got to share so many meals with family and relax. The spice rack, coffee, pizza in freezer and nice knives were very appreciated! We will be back and recommend this place for anyone!

One of the most unique Airbnb's I've stayed at. Really cool old log cabin that looks tiny until you get to the great room and massive screened in porch in the back. Really cool fusion of 1800s era cabin with a large modern addition. The place is located in the middle of the woods so her hear nothing but wildlife during our stay, but it is only 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host is awesome and very accessible and communicative. Nothing but good things to say about the house, the location and the host. Also, the best stocked Airbnb's I've every stayed in - some places don't even provide salt or a pan to cook in. This kitchen had more in it than mine at home!

We had the most amazing host ever. Anytime there was a question, she responded immediately. Her home is a beautifully decorated log cabin in a great location to allow for day trips. It has amazing views including a telescope on the upper level, very comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. I can think of nothing you might need during your stay that she hasn't provided. If I could give this Airbnb more than five stars, I WOULD.

Place was fantastic. The best value you’re going to find in a mountain home with incredible view. Well maintained, nicely decorated, all appliances you need and they worked as they should. Easy drive to West Jefferson. Home is off the Blueridge Pkwy. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this home and host.
