This is a magical home in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings. The host is very kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great short stay, could return already to continue discovering the many things to do, bathing, hiking, and the like. Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!

This place has everything you want! Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, private, safe, close to all attractions and restaurants. All 3 hosts are very helpful and respectful. Roy, Marco and Diane. Simply you are going to love it !

We stayed at this cottage for the weekend with my family and the experience was just spectacular. The place is too nice, surrounded by nature and with one of the best views of the Central Valley we have seen. The cabin is very well equipped, all spotless and thoughtful down to the last detail. It breathes tranquility and feels a real connection to the environment. It is located very close to the Barva Volcano, which makes it ideal for those who enjoy the mountain and the fresh air. Definitely a place we want to go back to. 100% recommended!
