Vacation rentals with lake access in Alexander City

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeslide Retreat! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed with all that was included in the amenities. We enjoyed the pool, and it was perfect for all ages. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great going around Lake Martin. It was so convenient to have the dock for our boat since we rented it for two days. Mary was a great, helpful host and always punctual in her replies. We absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Jim was very responsive when I messaged him. The house was super cozy. I cooked dinner for our second night stay and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans so that made cooking a breeze. You can hear the creek outback as soon as you step out of your car. It was absolutely amazing for the price and I'm very thankful for the experience.

Wonderful place to stay and relax. Pool was great and just loved being on the lake! Jeb was great in his response to all our questions. Definitely will be going again!

Highly recommend the Oak Road Oasis!! Our family had an amazing time and we were so thankful for the three floors to spread out across! We rented a boat for the weekend and easily docked it on property. Kids loved ping pong and the bunk beds, we all loved the hot tub, and the open floor plan and large dining room table made it easy to spend time together. We will definitely be back!!!

This is the cutest, cleanest place. I feel like the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s decorated so nicely. We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was so fun and clean. The back porch is so relaxing and overlooks the woods making it the perfect spot to sit and drink coffee. There’s a house to the right but not to the left, so it felt very private. We went to dinner at Springhouse and highly recommend!! We also liked Children’s harbor treasures and thrift and the proceeds go to help sick children. Overall an awesome stay!

We stayed here with close friends for my 40th birthday. It was nothing short of perfection. I’ve been eyeballing it for a few years to host retreats and after seeing in person, I’ll definitely be back. It was beautifully decorated, the lot was amazing, and it was absolutely relaxing. We never even turned on a tv. Our friends all had lovely things to say too. It left quite an impression on us all. Also, the bedding/pillows were very comfortable, and shower toiletries were provided which was a bonus!

We had a great time the house was very nice and clean. We spent most of our time on the lake. The location was very quiet and a very nice area. We would rent again.

We loved the quiet slough. The house is comfy with room to hang out. Had everything we needed.

We had the best weekend at Jan’s lake condo. We rented a boat at the marina that’s just a few minutes from the condo. Our teenagers enjoyed the boat for two full days, giving us lots of time together that is rare with busy summer schedules. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals, and there are several great restaurants close by. We went to Chucks and The Landing at Harbor Point with a quick boat ride from the condo. Jan has done a great job of updating the condo with top notch appliances and furnishings! The two balconies were nice for watching the boats as well as geese flying in on the water. We had an incredible weekend and will definitely return!

We LOVED this rental so much we extended our rental for the rest of our spring break. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and head to Florida but stayed 6 days at Stephanie and Chuck’s. It is a beautiful property. My kids fished and swam every day off of their fabulous dock. We rented a boat and had the best time on Lake Martin. Stephanie recommended a wonderful marina 5 minutes away. There is so much to do and see on the water. Our dog loved being able to run around, met the neighbor dogs and lay in the sun by the water. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen is awesome. It’s fully stocked with everything you need. They really thought of everything. The laundry, extra bedding, corn hole, grilling, the fire pit, even a swim mat for the kids. The beds were so comfortable! We all felt right at home. Stephanie and Chuck are so kind, very responsive and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

My family and I loved our stay at Lake Martin. Brian was extremely helpful and stayed in constant communication to answer any questions. The condo was in excellent condition and was beautifully decorated. The views were fantastic. The neighbors were all very friendly. One gentleman was so nice to let my son feed the turtles and fish (It made his day).

Owner very responsive and told us everything we needed to know. Beautiful complex on a beautiful lake. Convenient right next to a marina. highly recommend. We will be returning to this nice condo.

Daine Lodge was absolute perfection! Vicky and James are the bests hosts I’ve ever experienced. The place was exactly as depicted/described. The home had everything we could possibly need. The neighbors were friendly as well. The views are beautiful and so serene. We got up early to watch all the birds - I highly recommend. And being in a secluded area of the lake was perfect for our boys. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic lake condo at Lake Martin! We were visiting the area for a bass fishing tournament and Bob, the host, was very responsive and helpful! The property was very clean and having access to the boat slip, the pools, and the boat ramp were super convenient!

What a beautiful property! We were in town for a family wedding in Waverly and The Hive was a very easy commute. We also enjoyed checking out the Auburn University Campus which was near by. Mark was a great host - he quickly responded to a question I had while visiting and had clear instructions as to the location and check-in / check-out process. The home is spacious and more importantly CLEAN! Thank you Mark for the eggs from your chickens - our family members certainly enjoyed them! We give The Hive 5 out of 5 stars!

Lovely space, beautiful place to spend a getaway at. From the lively atmosphere inside the Airbnb to the stunning lake view in a reasonable walking distance. Stepping out into the balcony is another great view into nature. From the landscape itself to the wildlife, which we were able to see a herd of deer in the pasture under us. Wonderful place and definitely worth visiting again.

We had a nice time. We were unclear about the trash bags issues but Rachel explained their policy. It would have been helpful to have known that earlier so we could have brought some with us. One trash bag for the whole week just did not work.

Even a rainy weekend couldn’t dampen our spirits because staying at Karen’s place was great. Clean, comfortable, spacious for a family of 4, well-stocked, private, serene, beautiful setting, especially the deck. Pretty easy to get to & from Auburn U with google maps. Would stay again!

The place is so clean, cute and has a beautiful view. When you turn on the road to get to the house, it’s pretty run down and rough but then you get to this house and others beside it and they are great little lake cottages. This is common with lake living but it made us nervous when we first turned on the road. We would definitely stay here again! Communication was excellent as well.

My stay at The Cottage was the perfect getaway. Our trip was supposed to be a mini trip before Memorial Day weekend- Just me and my husband. He ended up having to work so it turned into an overnight trip for myself. The area is so quiet. There are houses around, but I didn't see anyone and it seemed very private. The cottage is clean and it has everything you need. The living room furniture was super comfortable, as was the bed. Maybe a small thing for some people, but its important to me. Nice deck and easy access to the water. The host is amazing. She is friendly, super attentive and very understanding, which is a huge plus when staying in an airbnb. I can't wait to come back (next time with the husband, or maybe just another trip by myself).

We used this home for a staff retreat and had a good time. We thought it was a little much that we had to wash and dry a load of linens before leaving. Washing is typical, but we’ve never been asked to wait and dry a load before leaving. We also felt it could’ve been cleaner. But, the location was great, and we had a great time. We would stay again.

We adored this lake house. It was beautiful, the river was so much fun to kayak on and the large porch/patio was perfect for relaxing in the evening. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and watching the sunrise from the dock. The kids enjoyed the giant Jenga set and playing Cornhole. The house easily accommodated my family for an Easter get together. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you, Kim, for such a delightful weekend getaway!

This was our first AirBNB stay in over 10 years! It was GREAT! April was proactive in letting us know how to check in and was responsive when I texted with a couple of questions. It was like having a local friend to touch base with! The house is not new but it was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, fresh and updated. She provided clear communication in a binder for checkin and check out instructions. Local attractions and eateries. She also provided little touches that made you feel welcome, such as a note and goody basket welcoming us, little soaps in the bathroom, plenty of towels, laundry and dishwashing soap. All was a plus and much appreciated! Unfortunantely, we could not enjoy the kayaks as it had been raining and the creek was too high, but the instructions and expectations for their use were very clear. We will utilize them on our next trip! Thank you for making this part of our trip stress-free!
