Vacation rentals with lake access in Tallapoosa County

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! We will definitely be back!! This was such a fun weekend getaway and loved that the social was in walking distance, the host were very responsive when I had questions! Check in and check out process was very easy!

We had an incredible stay at this lake house while celebrating our son’s high school graduation! First off, there was a mix-up with our original booking, and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us last minute — they were so friendly and quick to respond. The home is in the perfect location with its own private small boat ramp and the most fun two-story deck complete with a TV — a major hangout spot for our crew! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and all the beds were super comfortable. Publix was just a short 20-minute drive, which made it easy to restock. The only thing we would have changed was having a few more towels available in the bathrooms — but truly, that’s a minor detail in an otherwise amazing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing lake getaway!

My family stayed for a graduation weekend and to celebrate Mother's Day. The place was very well equipped and met everyone's needs perfectly. We enjoyed the porch, even with two pretty rainy days. The wind and rain were actually relaxing! The beds were very comfortable, and the sofa was also very comfortable, large, and deep enough for a great nap or to spend the night on. We enjoyed this stay as mach as we have any Airbnb trip. Highly recommend for a great stay!

From the cleanliness, the fluffy bath towels, to the extra items such as the aluminum foil, and pots and pans, everything was there to feel like home. We did not need anything that was not already provided. Beautiful home with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Highly recommend! We plan on already booking for next year! Mandy S.

This is the cutest, cleanest place. I feel like the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s decorated so nicely. We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was so fun and clean. The back porch is so relaxing and overlooks the woods making it the perfect spot to sit and drink coffee. There’s a house to the right but not to the left, so it felt very private. We went to dinner at Springhouse and highly recommend!! We also liked Children’s harbor treasures and thrift and the proceeds go to help sick children. Overall an awesome stay!

We had a wonderful time and the house worked extremely well for our group and dogs. The back porch is huge and perfect for the entire family. We had not been to Lake Martin before and thoroughly enjoyed the fit area!

Great host. Very well equipped property. She was very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a clean and quiet spot on the lake, this is it.

We had the best weekend at Jan’s lake condo. We rented a boat at the marina that’s just a few minutes from the condo. Our teenagers enjoyed the boat for two full days, giving us lots of time together that is rare with busy summer schedules. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals, and there are several great restaurants close by. We went to Chucks and The Landing at Harbor Point with a quick boat ride from the condo. Jan has done a great job of updating the condo with top notch appliances and furnishings! The two balconies were nice for watching the boats as well as geese flying in on the water. We had an incredible weekend and will definitely return!

El Cerrito was absolutely perfect for our week at Lake Martin!! We wanted an out of the way, quiet, peaceful, and serene spot and it exceeded our expectations!! Husband appreciated the awesome dock area and it was ideal for fishing off of. The kiddo loved all the games and the perfect swimming area. I thoroughly enjoyed the dock's top deck for relaxing and sunning, the walkout deck with stunning views and ample seating for family meals, and the best stocked kitchen away from home I have ever experienced! Stephanie and Chuck have literally thought of everything! They were super responsive, greeted us the next morning after arrival, came out to say farewell and wish us a safe trip home, and were truly wonderful hosts!! OH, and the real thrill during our stay was two different Bald Eagle fly by's - absolutely incredible!! ❤️

My family and I loved our stay at Lake Martin. Brian was extremely helpful and stayed in constant communication to answer any questions. The condo was in excellent condition and was beautifully decorated. The views were fantastic. The neighbors were all very friendly. One gentleman was so nice to let my son feed the turtles and fish (It made his day).

Daine Lodge was absolute perfection! Vicky and James are the bests hosts I’ve ever experienced. The place was exactly as depicted/described. The home had everything we could possibly need. The neighbors were friendly as well. The views are beautiful and so serene. We got up early to watch all the birds - I highly recommend. And being in a secluded area of the lake was perfect for our boys. We can’t wait to go back!

A very nice, comfortable and quiet escape from the busyness of graduation weekend. We were there to help move my son out of his freshman dorm and into a new apartment and even though Lake Martin is 40 mins from Auburn, the quiet and relaxing atmosphere made it a super place to stay. Minor things like a couple of Kurig pods for when you first get there and perhaps a couple more bath towels would have been welcome. Overall highly recommended for a condo on Lake Martin

Fantastic lake condo at Lake Martin! We were visiting the area for a bass fishing tournament and Bob, the host, was very responsive and helpful! The property was very clean and having access to the boat slip, the pools, and the boat ramp were super convenient!

We adored this lake house. It was beautiful, the river was so much fun to kayak on and the large porch/patio was perfect for relaxing in the evening. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and watching the sunrise from the dock. The kids enjoyed the giant Jenga set and playing Cornhole. The house easily accommodated my family for an Easter get together. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you, Kim, for such a delightful weekend getaway!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Keith's place! The listing was very accurate and was even better in person! Fabulous kitchen with everything you can imagine, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and so well appointed with just great touches, such as charging stations at each side of the bed, TV's in every bedroom, great blackout drapes if you want to sleep in and nice quality towels. The living room had really comfortable furniture, and beautiful fireplace, great tv. Then there is the outside. We sat out on the back porch every morning to have coffee & were entertained by all the many birds, chipmunks & squirrels. We enjoyed the firepit nightly and cooked a few of our meals on the grill. It was so peaceful on the lake & such a beautiful setting! I highly recommend Keith's place if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. We truly could not have had a better stay anywhere else.

Even a rainy weekend couldn’t dampen our spirits because staying at Karen’s place was great. Clean, comfortable, spacious for a family of 4, well-stocked, private, serene, beautiful setting, especially the deck. Pretty easy to get to & from Auburn U with google maps. Would stay again!

This was our second summer in a row staying at Mike’s place, and we had a fabulous trip once again! My husband and I brought our toddler, dog, and parents, and we had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Something that made our weekend extra restful was the layout of the Airbnb. We have a toddler who is constantly on the move and the open layout made it easy for her to walk around without getting hurt (even the tables were mostly rounded so we didn’t have to worry about her hitting a corner if she fell). The fenced in side yard was perfect for our dog to take quick potty breaks without us having to take him on the leash every time to go out. Our family loves to cook, and the kitchen is one of the best parts. Plenty spacious for us to cook and enjoy good food together. The bed in the master was also QUITE comfortable which was an added bonus. We rented a boat and the Airbnb is a close drive to the Marina, which made a boat rental easy peasy. Such a lovely stay, we will be back! Thanks Mike
