Bright, spacious and newly renovated (2021) apartment, in scenic surroundings. 15 min drive away from Ålesund city centre. 5 min to Moa shopping center. The apartment is fully equipped, has a porch and a lovely view. Nice walking areas in the immediate vicinity. Free parking, and electric car charger can be borrowed by agreement. It is possible to rent a boathouse area, with fishing equipment, 2 sup boards and fire pit..This is agreed with the host if needed no later than the day before. Walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacy, gym, hairdresser and restaurants

Welcome to our cozy apartment at Holstoppen in Ålesund! With a perfect location on "Moa's roof", you can enjoy nature and views right outside the living room door, but at the same time you have only 1.7 km walk from the shopping centers at Moa.This is the place for those who want both proximity to city life and tranquility in scenic surroundings. The apartment is about 60 m² and has a spacious living room with kitchenette, a bedroom with beds for two people,as well as a bathroom with washing machine. We are looking forward to welcome you!

In this spacious and unique place, the whole group will be comfortable. Access to large, sunny outdoor area, short distance to beach and mountain. 10 minutes to bus stop. Bus to the center of Ålesund about 30 minutes. Good fishing opportunities in the sea and in mountain lakes. An excellent starting point for many tourist attractions such as the Sunnmøre Alps, Geiranger, Trollstigen, Nordangsdalen, Alnes Lighthouse, Giske. A spectacular and accessible area for mountain hiking, hiking and recreational stays in beautiful nature.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor. It is newly renovated in 2024 and is consistently bright and modern. To the south you have a lovely roof terrace with good sun conditions and great sea views. The kitchen has what you need, as well as a wine cabinet. The living room is airy and modern, with a round dining table seating 4 people. The master bedroom has a 180 bed, TV on the wall and walk-in. The guest room has a 150bed and a wardrobe. In the bathroom it is bright with combined washing machine/dryer.

Located close to Ålesund centre - 3 minutes by car and 20 minutes walking. Aksla hiking area just outside apartment. Free parking. Double beds in each bedroom. Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. There is also balcony. Next to the house there is kindergarten where children can play after 17:00 o’clock. This apartment is a great location for exploring Ålesund and just a short 10-15minute walk to the centrum, shopping, bars and restaurants.

This was our 2nd stay at the apartment and it was every bit as good as last time. It was very comfortable and well equipped, in a good location with an amazing view. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Alesund a 3rd time.

Fantastic place with short distance to nice hiking and possibility to rent a boat nearby for those who want to fish. The house was much larger than we expected and the children appreciated all the toys that were there! Cozy host like black fort. We would gladly came back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment which is well- furnished and well- equipped and in a perfect location. The hosts went to a lot of trouble to make it a great stay, with special touches like a scent diffuser (which smells amazing), nice soap and some tea, coffee and spices, etc available for use. We didn’t cook but it’s a lovely kitchen for those who want to. Everything in Alesund is within an easy walk and the nearby shopping centre is very good. The park (that is very close to the building) has a lovely walking and running route and access to the viewpoint. We would have liked to stay longer as we didn’t have time to visit the viewpoint with rainy weather. An added bonus is that the airport bus stops close to the flat which made arriving and leaving easy for us.

Loved the hammock, the outdoor seating under roof, access to bikes and the bathtub. And the view was stunning. I rode the bike to Alnes fyr (lighthouse). The ride back in the tunnel was a bit steep and noisy, but SO worth it. I highly recommend it. Hoping to come back to climb the mountain there. I was surprised by how many hiking trails there are in the area. There is also a store nearby which was handy. And a stroll to the ocean was nice. Thanks you for having me Ekaterina, and thanks for the ride to Ålesund!

Four adults and two children stayed here in connection with a confirmation weekend. Perfect location a few minutes drive from Moa. The house has the forest as the closest neighbor, and it was very quiet and peaceful there. In the forest behind the house, there were some toys for the children, including a zip line and a swing. Synnøve always responded quickly and was very helpful with everything. We would love to stay here again at the next opportunity.

Super convenient location. Great deal with two big bedrooms and a nice balcony. We recommend bringing your own toiletries (shower soap, laundry detergent). Place is carpeted (white carpets) which is good to note for little kids. Perfect for adults. Overall amazing host and great stay!

What a cool space, Kjetil has. Very artsy and the location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. Kjetil’s communication was great along with all of the tips he provided locally as well as beyond the city. The deck overlooking the city and harbor were an added bonus at the end of the day for a sunset and a beer. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again if we make it back in the future.
