Monthly Rentals in Albemarle Sound

It is not Roberta and Frank's fault, but some road signs are not in place. It took us a while, to drive around and try to figure out where we were, on our way to Lauren Lane from US 17. The area is quite beautiful, peaceful, and a sanctuary for wildlife - just what we like. We also like seeing the surrounding farmland. While the cottage is great, there is one negative. Since there are no bedroom walls, all the interior light is all around inside, like a motel room. All the electronics and appliances have very bright lights, which shine around the room at night.

The host was amazing, I'm not ever tech savvy and she helped me so much while trying to add a pet fee and general questions. We stayed easter weekend to make it extra special for my son, the walk to see all the horses and wild life was amazing ! The barn cat even joined us for an easter egg hunt. Walking in to homemade banana bread made this feel so much more like home. It was hard to leave !!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house was immaculately clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The surrounding views were so beautiful and relaxing. Our 2 dogs enjoyed sniffing around the yards and exploring. Dog treats, bowls, and beds were provided which was a nice touch. We spent the days exploring Edenton and Elizabeth City, and we had cozy movie nights with their smart tv. Restaurants are at least 20 minutes away which wasn’t too bad. There’s a convenience store 5 minutes up the road that also does pizza orders. We tried it one night, and it was super good! We thought this was awesome because the house was in a pretty secluded but peaceful area. Thanks for a great weekend! Definitely made memories here to last a lifetime with my family and fur babies.

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.
