Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Albemarle County

I was in town for a family wedding. What a great home for us to be able to stay together. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. Our host, Ned was great and left us plenty of notes and suggestions for things to do.

Bill's awesome. My family spent Thanksgiving at his place and I reached out ahead of time to find out if there's a mixer for our whipped cream. I would've brought mine from home, but within 2 minutes, he had ordered one to be delivered prior to our arrival! He responded to my questions within minutes. Adorable kitchen worked well for our TG prep. Dining room is in a cozy window-laden spot that was perfect for doing puzzles. Bedrooms have really comfy beds and linens. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need - plenty of fresh thick towels and the water pressure is impressive. Ping-pong table = fun. Backyard was perfect for our dog when we didn't have the time to spend in Court Square Park, conveniently located right down the road. There are two off-street well-lit parking spaces. And the location is fun - eat, drink and shop; catch a movie; just walk around and stumble upon a street performer. All good. UVA is a short walk down Main Street, cideries and wineries a short drive. Go!

Our weekend girls' trip getaway to Susanne's pastoral family homeplace was absolutely wonderful, as this property is truly its own point of interest! While all bed/bath/kitchen provisions were top notch and well exceeded a typical amenity checklist, the thing that comforted us the most was a warm and open welcoming into the doors of this historic family home. From classic furnishings and sturdy wares, old photos and whimsical trinkets, interesting nooks and mysterious crannies, peaceful porch seating and delightful cow parades, abundant trees and beautiful flowers... we felt like we were right at home. Although we could have been perfectly content staying parked on the property our entire stay (and may plan to do just that for our next visit) we opted to enjoy a lovely drive for a day hike to a stunning waterfall in Shenandoah National Park, and went in to Charlottesville for some shopping on the pedestrian mall. We 100% recommend this historic property and Susanne's warm hospitality!

Not only was the house and property fantastic, but the responsiveness and support from the hosts before/during/after was top notch. Everything went smooth with the entire stay, and we'd highly recommend.

So spacious with lots of light, beautiful flooring, comfortable furniture and the best beds for a good night’s sleep, it was perfect for our family group of sisters.We loved the modern kitchen which is so well stocked and equipped! The huge shower in the master bedroom was a real hit! All enjoyed the hot water, fluffy towels and luxurious bedding and of course the pristine cleanliness of the entire house. It was a lot of fun to barbecue and enjoy the outdoor ambiance too! Rachel was immediately responsive to my texts and questions. She treated us with true kindness and Southern hospitality! With this great host, great house and superb location in Charlottesville, I truly lucked out and picked a winner that provided the settting for memories for a lifetime!! Thank you, Rachel! Had a great time with my son and 4 grandsons! Beautiful property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Megan very accommodating, house worked out great! I’d definitely be a return visitor!

We had a great stay at the Critzer House. It was just as described and perfect for our two families of four. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out together or retreat to separate spaces for some quiet time. The sunroom was great for starting the day with coffee and finishing with adult beverages. The location was ideal...30 minutes or less to incredible hikes, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Easy walk to Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner after a long day exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

This was a beautiful place to stay inside and out. The house was roomy, comfortable, and super clean. Beds were wonderful, too! But it was views outside windows and sitting around the firepit that made it extra special.

we really enjoyed the historic setting, the fantastic location near downtown activities, and wonderful historic neighborhood to walk around. the lodging was very comfortable and quiet. whenever we come back to Charlottesville, this is the place we would choose.

We had a great time at Tara & Mark's. It was as good as advertised and we really enjoyed the comfortable and clean space, and the beautiful surroundings outside.

Peter was responsive and generous. I was visiting Charlottesville and he offered his own oven for me to make some dishes. His place is clean and was nice and warm during the cold nights. I would stay here again when visiting. Thanks Peter for being a great host.

The home was great! Matched the description and pictures online. It’s a perfect location. The neighborhood was beautiful and had hiking trails within a half mile. Downtown was just a 5-10 minute drive. We loved the game room and fresh eggs from the chickens in the yard!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is off of a quiet road on a peaceful and beautiful piece of land. We loved meeting the goats (with two only hours-old babies to boot!) and pigs - and Dalva of course. The living space is clean and has everything you could need. Above all, having welcoming hosts is what makes an AirBnb stand out. Thank you both again!

We were very comfortable here and the whole place was very clean and had everything we needed. Jodi communicated quickly if I had questions. It was very peaceful and serene and we hope to go back on our next trip to palmyra in the fall!

This place was everything you need for a great weekend in Cville! It’s located right next to the downtown mall and Belmont, near all the great restaurants in town. The place was very cute and had great character. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable! The host was very nice and responsive.
