Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Albany County

John was a great host, and the home was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

House was as pictured. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with dishes/cups. The coffee creamer was a nice touch. The supersize bath products were a pleasant surprise. The heat worked well on the cool rainy weekend we visited. If it was nicer weather the back patio looked inviting. If arriving at night the address number on post is hard to see, but the front door/porch was well lit and house entry was easy. We would stay again if back in Albany area.

Stunning 3 story home in the Stockade area of Schenectady. My guests and I worked at Proctor's Theater, a 20 min walk. There are about 4 steps to get up to the front door, easy code access front door. Inside are the most gorgeous floors I have ever seen. The downstairs is so lovely, large open living room/kitchen with all amenities. LOVED the gas fireplace, starts up and turns off with a remote in seconds. Lovely and comfortable furnishings, fresh flowers in the kitchen and in my 2nd floor bedroom. (I didn't go up to the 3rd floor). Large full bathroom with jacuzzi tub and washer/dryer. Very comfortable bed and nice linens. The 2nd floor has a lovely reading nook on the landing. Loved the lighting in this 1790 home, loved everything about it. Quiet neighborhood. Parking is either on the street (not so easy to find at night) or a block away at a lot the owner has an agreement with. Cannot say enough great things about this home. I've stayed in over 100 Airbnb's and this is the best ever

We stayed at this lovely apartment for just a brief overnight on our way home from Vermont. The place was spotlessly clean, and beds were very comfortable. The location is walkable to a cute cafe for a delicious morning breakfast. Gas station was close by too. This was a great value for our family of 5 compared to two hotel rooms, and provided room to stretch out a bit. Great character and charm in the old building while being updated with modern amenities.

Enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and neat! Perfect weekend to unplug and spend time with family. We also enjoyed the Indian Hills state park nearby and their cidery.

There was a group ladies and teens who stayed at Katherine’s place for an AAU tournament in Albany. This was our second visit to her property. You feel right at home in this very convenient location and Katherine has everything well thought out for you. The fancy beds, copper tub and sauna make it extra special! This is place is a magical experience. It's perfect for those who want to experience the more remote nature this region offers. Pure and quiet night, picturesque surroundings, amazing sunrise/sunset. The Barn itself is designed creatively and mixes greatly between camping and comfort. Stephen is very helpful and communicative.

We loved our stay at Greg and Michelle’s place. The whole apartment was beautiful and comfortable, we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the shower. We enjoyed the gas fireplace very much - it was unseasonably cold while we were there and loved having it on while we had our coffee in the morning. The location is perfect to explore Troy but also convenient to get anywhere. We had to think about and plan for the parking, but never had a problem finding a spot close to the apartment. Greg and Michelle were responsive and helpful. We will definitely make this our go-to rental when we come to visit family a few times a year.

What a dream come true for a traveling pinhead!! This spot has two very consistent themes: pinball and outer space. If you share either of these interests, you will be very happy here. And for anyone who finds themselves here without already being a pinball lover, I hope that Mike has converted you! Mike and Korrine were awesome, it's a great line-up of games, and I hope to find myself staying here again one day!
