Vacation rentals in Albanian Alps

Regardless of the location, being a little sketchy and having to climb multiple flights of stairs, I will be revisiting our Arjeta’s place anytime I’m in Shkoder. It is pristine with the perfect view. Once inside the space, you forget the location and the stairs and are in awe of view and the space. Arjeta is a lovely human and I would recommend her space to everyone visiting Shkoder.

The pictures don't do the place justice, it is a stunning accommodation with amazing views of the mountains. The bathtub was the main character and is bigger than it looks. The water takes a couple of minutes to heat up but it was no issue. There are other accommodations nearby but no access for other people in view of the windows so we had complete privacy.

Cozy, clean, in a great spot. easy to find since it is in google maps. on the photos it looks like you are completely alone there but there is a cabin next to you, which we didn’t mind. Just shop any groceries in advance since there are no markets near, but the host told us in advance also. Its beautiful and we had a great time!

This is my second time staying at this welcoming home, and I highly recommend it! It offers a very friendly and positive atmosphere, cleanliness and comfort, as well as delicious food and stunning views ❤️

This place was exactly what we were looking for after a busy 5 days on the Montenegrin coastline. The location suited us perfectly for a peaceful end to our already amazing trip, with the calmness of the river and the array of wildlife making it extra special. The house very spacious with plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors. Although Drazen does not speak English, the daughter was able to translate and offer support with any issues we had and Drazen himself was incredibly kind and would help with any matter or issue. The local breakfast made for us every morning was the perfect way to start the day. If you also have additional time, go to lake skadar and take a tour of the lake, it’s only a 30 minute drive. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm retreat! A true hidden gem.

This place was amazing for us. We stayed for 90 days, and due to the nature of the space, we achieved so much during our time. Dejan, his wife, Meli, and the team Danka & Bozo are a great group of hosts. They are like a small family, and we felt right at home. Our dog Shadow loved the enclosed garden space and was chasing lizards for hours. The place was very well maintained, and the listing doesn't do it justice because it has so many surprises. The private gym was SO good for us. All we did was work, train, and eat good food. We managed to source some great local ingredients like RAW Buffalo milk. This place feels very private and enclosed, which is good if you want to be away from the busy city. Meli is growing amazing food in the garden, and if you are lucky enough, you will get to have some. They went the extra mile whenever anything needed fixing, and were very quick to respond when we needed support. The Wifi is solid for digital nomads like us. I will miss this place & people!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an incredible Airbnb on the serene shores of a lake, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were met with exceptional service that truly set the tone for our stay. One of the standout features was the private hot tub, it was absolutely lush! The hosts made sure to clean it out and refill it fresh for us every day, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast delivered right to our room, which added a lovely touch to our mornings. The on-site restaurant was another gem; it was not only affordable but also served some of the most delicious meals we experienced during our time in Shkodër. The quality and taste of the food exceeded our expectations, making dining there a true pleasure. The staff were nothing short of outstanding. beautifull place, so much peace, butterflies, insects and other nature. great view! papa makes good syrups we got when went for a drink at daria and damirs place. even ended up playing a game with the other guests. had a great evening. hottub makes it feel like a wellness spa. and we dont like going to spa's. but this place made me like it🥰 thank you so much for your hospitality!
