Campsite vacation rentals in Alabama

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

I stayed in the converted bus & tiny house with my wife and four small boys (ages 2-6). It was such a fun adventure for my kids! Everything was well maintained and we had everything we needed. There was even a pack-and-play for our littlest. We checked-in in the middle of the night, and it was hard to find exactly where to go in the dark, but a kind gentleman (Brad) came up and helped me find out where to go and he made sure I had everything I needed for my family. He even went and got 6 eggs from his chickens so that we could have a fresh farm breakfast in the morning. I hope we get the chance to stay here again!

10/10 It looks just like the pictures, super cozy, very clean and very well connected. It’s a beautiful area. Safe and peaceful with gorgeous trees all around.

This experience will take you to a secluded micro camper nestled in a wooden shelter with a lookout tower. It starts out by being welcomed and driven out by an ATV through a thrilling dirt path, then given supplies and left for the night. We got ourselves situated and had a wonderful night, after finding the mosquito netting 😂 wonderful experience, highly recommend!

The Glamp Camper was comfortable, clean and the perfect place to stay if you want to experience camper life. The Glam Camper has everything you need to feel right at home. The RV resort was wonderful from their staff to daily activities for the family, kids and it's even pet friendly. This gem of a stay is close to several beaches, shops and local restaurants. Our family can't wait to come back!

My husband & I were looking for a peaceful place to relax and fish as we celebrated our wedding anniversary and this was absolutely perfect! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful campground and very accommodating hosts. We simply needed a place to stay with our dogs last minute and we’re grateful to find a spot that was a reasonable distance from our niece’s wedding venue! Love the deck!

Amazing little RV and spot. This RV is secluded from the other cabins with its own fire pit making it the perfect little vacation. Was able to easily reach all amenities and get any supplies we needed at the general store. I’d recommend this spot for anyone on a budget!! Guntersville is a hidden gem 💖

Perfect stay, Rv was wonderful, clean, & equipped. The campground was beautiful, peaceful, and felt safe (so important when traveling with kids). Absolutely will return. Great host & very responsive. Would give the 6 stars if I could.

We weren't concerned about the price (it isn't real cheap), but we wanted a safe place to vacation that gave us privacy and a "get away" feeling without being too far from home. The "glamping" adventure was unique and PERFECT for a more mature person who maybe can't hike through the woods, but wants to be a part of the woodsy experience. The hot tub off the back deck hit the spot, the area's food was great, the towns of Guntersville and Scottsboro gave me plenty of thrifting shopping and I can't say enough about the accommodations. Great bed, great kitchen, great bathroom, EVEN IN A TENT. We will be back!

It was a great stay. Had a boat with me and had plenty of room to turn around and park. There was enough room for multiple boats if need be. Was also little worried about the airport being too noisy before booking but it was actually super quiet. It was not a busy airport at all. I enjoyed it.

This was the perfect vacation stay for my small family. Everything matched the description and there were extra amenities available. The pool was perfect. Shannon went above and beyond our expectations and we will be returning in the future.

Exceeded expectations! Our family had a great time in May and will definitely go back for a fall trip too. All of the features and details inside the train were so neat. The den / kitchen area was more spacious than I expected. I was afraid it may feel a little claustrophobic but it didn't at all. The specific local recommendations provided were great. We have small children and weren't able to utilize the river much as there isn't flat / cleared ground beside it and the water was moving pretty rapidly during our stay, but we still had lots to do without the river. Definitely worth visiting!!

Had an absolutely amazing experience. Everything was exactly as described. Andrea greeted us when we went down the barn and gave us some locations to check out as well as had a map of the national forest for us to borrow. Note that if you do not like nature or bugs this is not the stay for you. We had a power bank that doubles as a speaker/radio in the tent. This is TENT camping. We did stay later in the season and it was warm but Andrea did offer a fan for us that we turned down because we are used to the warmer weather. This site has the least amount of shade but we did go sit at the barn and watch a movie on the patio. We have already planned a trip for next march when the kids will be joining us. Absolutely amazing place.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway with our JetSki. Haleigh's place is just down the road from a very nice boat ramp on the Bon Secour River. There was plenty of parking for our truck and JetSki trailer next to the Airstream. The inside of the Airstream was very clean and had everything we needed, including cold air conditioning. It's conveniently located - just a short drive to many great restaurants. We look forward to staying at Haleigh's place again in the future.
