You are renting a barn on the outskirts of Akersloot. Rural area and yet close to the A9, making you in no time in cozy cities like Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar. The home has its own entrance; you have a beautiful sight on bulb ground. Akersloot is located 10 km. from the beach. It borders the Alkmaardermeer where you can also swim with playground for children. Tourist tax must be paid separately and is €1.80 pp/night. Breakfast is not included.

Linda was a very kind host who always responded quickly to messages! It was noticed that she put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and cozy. You could not live more centrally in Alkmaar: shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the church tower clock strikes every quarter of an hour at night, which was a little difficult at night. Linda provided us with earplugs for this. But the beds were very cozy!

We loved our stay at Huis te Krommenie very much. We were warmly welcomed by Bauke and Jeanne and received clear and nice information about the history of the house (a former GP practice) and how the atmosphere of the B&B was created. In addition, they gave us nice tips about the area and good eateries. The bed was lovely and also the "old" shower was surprisingly pleasant. We really enjoyed it and have absolutely no complaints or comments. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this stay!

A beautiful house with all the advantages for a wonderful vacation. It has a great ambiance with plenty of space. The wardrobe is large and bright. The living and dining area is very nicely designed, the kitchen has all the features (dishwasher at standing height, great coffee maker, super stove, Quooker, dishes and glasses - very nice). The guest toilet on the first floor has a great design. The top two floors have very stylish high-quality furnishings with beautiful lighting. The bathroom is fully equipped, also very high quality. The garden is also very nicely designed with several seats with a very pleasant atmosphere, also covered. Everything was perfectly clean and beautiful, as shown in the pictures. The location is ideal for short distances to Alkmaar, Amsterdam and the sea. The lake in Akersloot is around the corner. We can fully recommend the house and will be happy to come back. Daphne and Mark are great hosts. Thanks!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Desiree always responded quickly. Alkmaar is a very beautiful city and easily accessible by bike. The Schoorlser dune and nearby beaches are great. Anytime again!!!
